June comes so fast, parang kailan lang noong nag decide akong tanggapin yung offer sa akin and then now eto na yung start ng bagong karera ng buhay ko. I've make a mistake back then, and now I realize that she's not worth my time para makonsensya pa sa bagay na hindi ko naman ginawa. Ngayon babangon ako mula sa pag kakadapa at dito ko sisimulan.
"Moe are you ready?" The staff asked me.
"Yes sir, I'm done here" I said.
"Alright let's go, stand by ka muna sa backstage malapit ng mag start yung show" he said. So I stand up and follow him.
Nung nasa backstage na kami at ilang minuto nalang ay mag sisimula na ang show nung may makita akong pamilyar na babae sa hindi kalayuan. I stared at her for a little long but she immediately turned her back on me ng mapansin niyang nakatingin ako sa gawi niya. Nailing nalang ako at pinilit na iisang tabi muna iyon dahil pinapwesto na kami ni Direk.
At that very moment I feel so nervous but at the same time excited. After a long while now here I am, given a chance to do the things I use to love since I was a kid. And that is to sing, to perform in live.
"Okay good job everyone" the Director clap his hands as our performance ended, and I'm proud to myself dahil alam ko sa sarili ko na I did my best.I smile to everyone before bidding good bye.
I am now on my car heading home, when I decided to stop and buy coffee because ... I don't know, I just feel to buy and drink.
"Hi, one iced coffee please for take out" I ordered and pay it , as the Cafe is a self-service ay pumunta muna ako sa isang table para doon mag intay nang maibigay na niya sa akin ang number ko.
While waiting, I make myself busy by scrolling down my timeline on twitter and I can't hide my smile because of the tweets my fans tweeted about my performance earlier. I think I really did well.
"One iced coffee from no. 23" nang narinig ko iyon ay tiningnan ko ang hawak kong papel to check on my number but it's not mine so ibabalik ko na dapat ang atensyon ko para mag basa ulit ng mga tweets ng sinundan niya pa ulit ito "and no. 29" after hearing my number was called ay dali dali akong tumayo to get my order.
As I was getting my coffee ay napatingin ako sa kasabayan ko and I noticed na ito din yung babaeng nakita ko sa studio kanina, but still I can't recognize her because of the cap she's wearing.
After makuha nito ang kape niya ay umalis na din agad ang babae and as much as I want to call her ay hindi ko na nagawa dahil mukhang busy ito at nag mamadali, base na din sa kilos nito na parang may hinahabol na oras at dumaan lang sa coffee shop just to grab a cup of iced coffee.
Bumalik na agad ako sa sasakyan ko and supposed to drive again para makauwi na ng makatanggap ako ng message from my mom na may isa pa daw akong appointment today. She give me an address and to my shock when I reach it is because there are crews and team that are present on that area. It's the same crew and team of a musical variety show that I know, All Out Sunday to be exact.
I was clueless that time and still in the processing moment ng pukawin ni mom ang atensyon ko.
"Son, I'm sorry kung biglaan at hindi ko nasabi agad sayo. It just that ngayon ngayon ko lang din kasi nareceived yung email nila. They said lot of your fans are requesting for you to be guested sa show na to and I think it's the right time na pag bigyan sila. Look they are still there even though you've been busy in your private life for the past months or even years. They missed you so much Moe, I'm sorry if it's so sudden." my mom explain.
I smile at her " no Mom, it's alright. I think I'm fine with it, but are they fine with this?"
"Of course" someone said na ikinalingon ko sa gilid ko kung saan nang gagaling ang boses na nag salita " it's been a while Elmo, welcome to GMA... again?" A girl with a bright smile said.
