Chapter-17
UNEDITED"Sometimes, I get lost in the meadow of my memories, couldn't make out if I'm just shedding my transparent fluids or smirking at my own lunacy"
My eyes were not closing their doors. They wanted to see through that light as much as possible but unfortunately, I became insensible and finally, my eyelids closed their way. I didn't even try to open them again because somewhere deep inside my conscience, I was assured that when I'll open my eyes again, there would be no darkness, only the light will welcome me.

My body could finally feel the ease of the mattress.
The mattress compressed as Brendon humped me onto the bed.The room looked familiar to me.
I opened my eyes and the golden hue struck its way towards me.
It was almost dawn.I shook my head and pull my hair into a sleek bun.
My baby hair almost made me frustrated, giving rise to unbearable itching.
The room was vacant. No one was there, except for me. My whole body felt a sudden jerk as I stood up.
"You should eat something, otherwise, I bet you can't even walk a mile." Brendon barged into that vacant room.
Both his hands looked busy.
He was holding a tray. My eyes were puffy and it took some time for the retinas to come back to their original positions.
Without any delay, I straightened up my stringent body.
"Wait, why are you acting as if nothing has happened at all?"
I said with an exclamation point."In these past few days, I have got a lot to know about you. You are just a confusing personality. And why the hell, all of my doubts are pointing their fingers at you!?"
I proclaimed while raising my voice as high as I could"I- you-, you need to hear me, I'll make you understand everything."
"You gotta hear me," Brendon gasped and moved his hand over his head in an unexplainable manner.
"Wait, where's Uncle Jeb? And yeah where's Katherine?" I gulped out all of the questions.
I lobbed the food tray over his head.
"Okay, let's talk. Just don't go like this." Brendon gave me one of those 'do not leave me' looks of his.
I walked past him and finally, he said what I didn't want to hear.
"I'm a WITCH."
My feet were completely buried in that wooden floor.
Couldn't think of turning back and looking into his eyes. It was the last thing I wanted to hear from him."Let's go out and talk. Brendon escorted himself to the exit of his house."
I adhered to his statement. While we were walking on the charcoal road, he didn't utter a single word.
It was awkward.
He finally stopped in front of that lake.
Without any delay, he sat on the rough grass.
The lake looked weary that day. The grass was too rough and irregular. He crippled his legs and folded his hands around his knees. Almost made a Circle."So you're a Witch?" I quizzed him.
He rotated his head and stared at me. His eyes were full of explanations."What do you think, even after encountering all of this, you can't figure out?" Brendon obviously said.
He took his eyes off me and threw gravel in the lake, it was the only sound that was able to make its way out of all the silence.
I slightly drew the rough lemon coloured grass from its roots. I kept pulling the long, wafer-thin shreds from the ground.
"It's all hard, I don't want to believe what I saw, instead, I want to believe what you say. Just say that it's all a lie. Just for once."
Tears started making their way out of the bottom of my lashes."I'm a witch and that's the truth," Brendon unhesitatingly said.
"I do bad to people, I harm them. I-, I can be your worst nightmare, Ally." Brendon squeezed a little voice out of his tensed tongue.
"U know, If I want then I can make you forget everything just in a click. I can make you spellbound." His sleek hair was almost making a cute curve along the right side of his head.
I stood up and held his hand abruptly. I pulled him up with my remaining strength. That was the moment when I realised that he was so tall.
The sun rays were no longer making me see things blindly. Those rays couldn't trespass him.
I didn't know what I wanted to do.
His hand was still locked with mine.Soon he unwrapped his hand from mine and started walking away.
"You can physically leave but you can't take away all of those memories which we made together," I screamed as any other crazy woman would.
"You deceived me and my friends. You know what, you're the worst!"
"Tell me where's Uncle Jeb?" I raised a question out of nowhere.
He answered without swirling his body half around this time.
"He is safe, I made him forget everything about last night."
Once again, I had nothing to ask or investigate either.
A lot was there to be asked but I ended up in seclusion.
I hoped he would turn around and say something.
Maybe my angels were kind enough to listen to me at that time.
Brendon wheeled his head towards me.
He ambled his way, approaching me.
His exhaled breath started to mix in the air in front of me.
Soon I could feel his fresh, crisped gasp on my shoulder. His hand went inside his disordered blue jeans.
His fingers were balancing a prolonged, burnished piece of metal jewellery.
He heaved the metal material up and unhooked it.
My eyes suddenly changed their direction and started making a hole in the ground.
I could see his filthy, kick boots moving forward in my direction.
Suddenly I could sense the cold metal piece on my collarbone. It made its way down to my cleavage.
I started to stare into his eyes without any fear.
His hands were trying their best to handle my unconditioned hair.
He pulled the hair up and hooked the jewellery again.
At last, his eyes started to seem gloomy."This will keep you away from all the sorcery and troubles. Do not take it out at any cost."
Brendon ordered me with a manly face.He had never acted like A MAN before.
His hazel eyes started to drop some of the unwanted tears.
He tried his best to camouflage those rolling droplets of his but he couldn't hide them.I wanted to stay by his side and ask him about everything,
But the fact that he had captivated and exploited UNCLE JEB, restrained me from doing so."You told me that you can't erase all the memories we made, I can do that for you."
"Let's go to our own ways. I'll eliminate myself from your life. I'll create a glitch in your memory. You'll no longer be able to remember me."
Brendon exclaimed while moving his feet apart.Hello pretty beings, if you like this chapter then do vote and comment. Help me grow. Love you all.
