My heart was filled with excitement and my stomach was tickling because of nervousness.

I was nearly a mile away from my destination when I saw some type of human shadow on the road, right in front of me. It looked like a silhouette of two people hugging each other.

My contentment started to fade away slowly.

It felt like I have gotten a tight punch from my mom unintentionally on my cheek.
My inner Ally laughed her heart out.
She chuckled so much, that even the Angels could hear her laughs of satisfaction.
I turned back and ran towards my house. I felt upset, I don't know why. I quickly unbuckled my heels, held them in my hands. Took a tissue paper out of my bag and brushed it on my face so harshly.
I was about to touch the doorbell when suddenly a bad thought struck my mind that what if mom asks why I'm home early! I can't bear to answer even a single question right now, I once again turned around and started walking towards ' MY PLACE'.The lake. I have never been to the lake like twice in a day. I went there and laid down.

Wake up! Ally. What are you doing here? Those were the lines I could barely hear as I was half asleep. It felt like it was a dream.ALLY?

yeah! As we were heading back to our place, I instantaneously remembered that old lady as soon as we saw her house on our way back.
It was all dark by now so her house was. All the lights were off as usual.
I was processing all this when suddenly I saw that old lady coming towards us from the other end of the road with a handful of white lilies.
She was heading towards her place when she intentionally stopped as we passed by.
