Hello? I asked as if I knew that there was someone.

As I walked up the stairs, with each step I was guessing who would be there?

Maybe someone from that old lady's family or a...thief?

Wait is it safe for me to go upstairs?
I asked myself in a very unsure manner.

DOESN'T MATTER NOW, BECAUSE YOU HAVE ALREADY REACHED THERE, NOW THERE'S NO WAY YOU CAN ESCAPE.

My inner Ally interrupted very gracefully.
Oh shut up you bitch, let me concentrate, I replied.

I was in front of a room now, which was locked from inside

I was in front of a room now, which was locked from inside.
I heard someone grieving very upsetly.

I took a Bobby pin out of my ponytailed hair, which caused my shiny, brown strands to block my vision.

And I tried to open the door.
Thankfully it opened and I saw no one inside that room.
I stepped in and said in a very assuring tone,
Heyyy! You can come out! As I stepped forward, I saw another small door.
It was tall but small in width, almost like a coffin.
I pulled my hands out of my jacket and with shaking hands, I opened the door and my vision got blocked once again because of my hair strands ( guess I shouldn't have taken out the booby pin),

so I couldn't see anything but after a few seconds, I felt a bulky weight on me. It felt as if I have been crushed and compressed by someone's feet.

I fell on the ground and that weight was onto me now.
And it was a weight of a grown-up boy maybe 2 or 3yrs older than me.
I know I'm being too precise. I'm good at this.

And when I finally got my senses back, I saw his eyes were just an inch or two away from mine.

My heartbeat went so high that it felt like my heart was about to come out of my chest.
His Hazel green eyes were so shimmering! People rarely have that type of eye colour.

I plunged him away and stood up.
My back was broken by this time. He stood up and I could see his eyes were flooded with water droplets.
Each droplet sliding through his cheeks to his neck.
WHO ARE YOU!? he asked in a very unpleasant way as if I'm a burglar or something.
Who are you? I asked back in a very confused manner. I guess you're that old lady's grandson or relative, aren't you?

I said without even thinking twice.
Who old lady? He asked nonchalantly.

Ohh the one who used to live here, I answered.

What? He asked in a very baffling way.
Oh, you don't know her? Then what are you doing here? I asked confoundedly.
First, tell me who are you, he asked unknowingly.
He raised questions over questions. This is my place, my mother lives here. Where is she?! He raised another question.
I- I don't know, I thought only an old woman lived here. Sorry, maybe I was wrong. I answered in a disguised way.

What are you talking about? aghhh you're making me sick! just get out of my way, I need to find my mom. He exclaimed.

Oh but I'm here because something weird is going on with me and it is related to your grandma, I guess.
I said in a very explanatory manner.

I don't have a grandma! how many times do I have to tell you? Just go! He shouted.

By this time I was filled with anger! I said nothing, turned around and went downstairs very slowly because I was badly hurt.
My leg and my back also now my glass wound was hurting too! I could barely walk at that time.

Before I could step out of that scary little home, I tripped over the floor.
My fall produced a little thud.

I heard someone's footsteps.
The frequency was getting higher as the footsteps came towards me.
You are a mess, young lady. That weird guy said sarcastically.

What? Ufff I don't want to talk to you. I was about to go, but because of you I got hurt and wasn't even able to walk a mile. I frowningly said.

Give me your hand. He commanded.
Oh, no I can get up by myself. I disagreed.
You are not only irritating or messed up, but you're madly stubborn! He said while dragging my hand up.
He pulled me up and once again I was hypnotized by his hazel green eyes.

It felt like they were trying to say something.
But instantaneously my self assumptions vanished as soon as I realised that I was holding his hand.

Uhmm I -,see I didn't come here randomly, I have a purpose but I guess you don't know that old lady so, it's fine for you to be surprised.

By the way, I'm sorry maybe I was just overthinking. I said all these lines in just one go, without taking a breath.
I didn't hear any response. The only thing I could hear at that time was the sound made by the water droplets as they stroke the house's roof.
OKAY. He finally replied.
WOAH, WHAT A PLEASING REPLY. My inner Ally merrily said.

Okay, so I should head out now. I said satisfactorily.
I hope we don't meet again in future. He resentfully said.
As I heard those words, I opened the door quickly, stepped out of the house and closed it with a thud.

It was raining badly. What does he think of himself? huh, is he a celebrity or something?
So much rudeness, don't even know how to treat a guest.

But what was he doing in that old lady's house? I thought deeply.
And how did the old lady knew that she was going to die and why did she tell me to greet her?
And what was she doing that day, when I first saw her, sitting on a round table mumbling something with a photograph and a candle. All these questions were spinning in my mind.
