PAST:

Finally, it was Christmas break and Ray's time to visit family. Ever since he told his sisters about Jason, they were over his head about meeting him. Their keen interest only scared Jason even more. He was reluctant at first, but Ray somehow succeeded in persuading him. He had to meet them someday, so he just decided to get it over with.

On the drive from Nashville airport to Holt residence, Ray took Jason on a trip down memory lane. The sheer joy on Ray's face made Jason's heart flutter. He didn't understand how just sharing memories could make someone so happy, but as it meant a lot to Ray, he was in it, no matter what.

When they came into the neighborhood Ray grew up in, he got even more excited. He jumped around in his seat as he told Jason about everything he did as a child. Suddenly, Ray asked the driver to stop. Jason's jaw dropped when he realized what house they were stopping in front of.

"You live here? This is your fucking house?" Jason asked, still in shock.

"Yeah."

"What are you gonna tell me next? That you are a Disney prince?"

"What are you tripping about?" Ray asked as he took the bags out from the trunk.

"This," said Jason, pointing towards the house. "It is a fucking mansion."

"A mini-mansion."

"Pfft, technicalities. I knew you were rich, but I didn't know you were this loaded. I am gonna dig myself some gold from now on."

"You don't have it in you to be a gold-digging bitch. You're too sanctimonious for that," said Ray.

"Aha, already using the big words, huh, Mr. Lawyer?"

"Shut up, and pick up your bags. The moment you have been dreading is here."

"Ugh! Can't we go back? We've still got time," said Jason.

"Oh, come on, you pansy. My sisters are not gonna bite you, and if they do, you can punch them in the face. You have my permission."

Before Jason could say anything, the front door opened, and a woman walked out. Dressed in white, with long blonde hair, it didn't take a second for Jason to realize who she was. "Oh, my boy is here!" the lady exclaimed. "Oh, I've been waiting to see you for so long," she said as she hugged Ray. "And who this fine young man might be?"

"Ma, this is Jason. Jason, Ma."

"Nice to meet you, Ma'am," said Jason.

"Oh, please call me Marilyn."

"The name certainly suits you well, Marilyn," said Jason.

"Did you just flirt with my mother?" Ray teased.

"Haven't I proven my gayness enough?"

"Oh, enough with the banter. Now, come on in," said Marilyn. "You have gotten even more skinny. Don't they feed you there?"

"Oh, there isn't enough food in New York to satisfy his hunger," said Jason.

"Then what's the problem?"

"I have got a hot boyfriend, Ma. We do stuff...and it burns calories," said Ray.

"Oh, Jesus! No one wants to hear about gay sex. Shut up, will you?" said Rebecca, the eldest of the three siblings.
