Chapter 3- Lost and Found

ALLISON'S POV

I ran and ran. I probably ran all day. After what seemed like forever, I stopped running. I was still crying though. Actually, my wolf was. I still couldn't believe what was happening. Maybe this is all just a dream! I bit myself lightly to see if I would wake up in my illuminated bedroom, with my clothes spread out on the floor. My eyes were closed, and once i opened them, I was dissapointed, as I was still in the forest. 

I howled to the moon. I don't know why, but it made me feel good. Just like if I screamed in a pillow, or took a long walk to clear my head. I stared at the moon. What was I going to do? A stray tear got caught on my furry cheek. 

Suddenly, I heard a strong howl,followed by a dozen others. Oh no. I started running again, this time faster. I could hear the wind singing in my ears, along with the other wolf calls. 

I cringed and yelled, as my whole body burned again. I had turned into a human. My senses were still strong, but not as strong as when I was... whatever I was. I shivered as the cold cut through my skin. A shadow lurked and twisted on the birch trees, followed by many others. I gasped, and backed away. 

A large gold wolf appeared from the darkness. His eyes searched around, and landed on me. I couldn't believe it. Many gray wolves followed after him, all looking at me. They got closer and closer. I kept backing up, until I slipped on a root. My body lurched back, and my head hit a root. I could feel a bump growing on my head, as the world got blurry. I finally gave in, and let the darkness possess me once again. The last thing I saw was the golden wolf staring at me, its green eyes with blue tinges.

CONNOR'S POV

I heard a wolf howl, and my body felt like it had recieved shocks of electricity. I instantly knew that my mate was howling to the moon. I howled back, also letting the pack members know that I was going to go find my mate! A dozen other wolves followed me, including my brother, his mate, my 3 best friends, their mates, my parents, and two other wolves I did not recognize. Probably two of father's friends. I raced into the forest. I could feel her run, and smell her wonderful scent. She smelt like a spring day and chocolate. My two favourite things!

She slowed down, as she turned back into a human. She was very weak, and I could feel her looking for a hiding spot. I slowed down, going from a quick sprint, to a quiet march. I could see her shadow, and I knew she could see mine. I took a few steps forward until I could see her fully, and I gasped. She was beautiful, even when she was scared shitless.

Her face was perfect. Her beautiful blue eyes were wide open, with the green and purple tinges showing. She was also wearing a tank top and her undies. I felt myself and my wolf blush, but kept approaching her. She kept backing away though. Allison! Don't you know that I am your mate!? My father's wolf looked at me, and talked.

" This is normal behaviour for a female wolf. She does not recognize you as her  mate yet.  But she will, do not worry."

She slipped on a root, and hit her head. I cringed. When your mate was injured, you could feel their injuries, as if they were your own. She passed out, and I raced to her side. She saw me, my golden wolf, before the darkness claimed her. I sighed, and talked mentally with my father.

" I don't think she did so well, concerning turning into a wolf. "

His wolf nodded in approval.

" I believe we should take her back to our house. Then, we she wakes up, you will be able to explain to her what happened."

My wolf nodded. I couldn't wait until she woke up! My mother was frantic.

" Oh no! What will we tell Mellisa? Her mother will be worried sick! She didn't tell her daughter she would become a werewolf!"

My father came beside my mother's wolf, and licked her nose.

" Do not worry. Everything will work out fine. I will go and tell Mellisa about her daughter. And when she wakes up, Connor will talk to her. By the way, what is her name?"

" Allison. Her name is Allison"

Even saying her name gave me the chills. His wolf nodded. I walked over to Allison, and nudged her with my nose. She didn't stir. Man, she was out cold! I managed, with Matt's help, to carry her on my back. Matt walked alongside me, with his mate. My mother and father walked ahead of us, and my friends walked behind us with their mates as well. Everyone looked happy, except for the two wolves in the back, whom I still didn't recognize. 

Matt came beside me, and his wolf was grinning.

" Congratulations little brother. You found your mate. I hope she is as great as mine."

He licked Sophia's nose. She smiled, and faced me. " I know that when she will wake up, she will understand." I nodded. I hope so too. 

UNKNOWN POV

We walked in the back of the pack, talking mentally to each other.

" She has the mark on her neck .  I saw it."

His wolf gasped.

" I cannot believe that she is one of them. I nodded.

" We will need to distract her, before the Great War."

" I will pray that her mate will not tell her who she really is. Otherwise, the wolves will have a great advantage, during these dark times."

We stalked away from the group, back to our own.
