As soon as I arrived back at my apartment, I changed into more comfortable clothes before tidying up around my apartment.
Before I knew it, it was 4:30pm. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my contact list to get to Shouta's phone number. As soon as I had located his number, I sent him a text message with my address and how to get there. After messaging him, I went onto the internet on my phone to see what near-by take-outs were open.
My phone vibrated as a message came back from Shouta telling me he was about to head over to my apartment and should be there within the hour. I smiled at the message before locking my phone and placing it on the table.
I sat and stared at the wall deep in thought. I was considering what movie Shouta and I could watch, I wasn't even sure what kind of movies he liked. I picked up my phone again and went onto Shouta's contact number and messaged him.
Y/N - Hey, it's me again! What kind of movie would you like to watch tonight? I have loads for you to pick from :)
I sent the message and waited for his response which came back almost immediately.
Shouta - Anything is fine, I'm not fussed.
I nodded at the text and scanned over the movies lining the shelf on my TV unit, looking at the different genres I had. Comedy? No, Shouta doesn't seem the type of guy to enjoy comedies. Romance was definitely out of the question, there was no doubt he would fall asleep.
My eyes landed on my small collection of horror movies and I grinned from ear to ear, horror would be a good choice. I stood up from the couch and picked out some horror movies for Shouta to choose from.
The doorbell to my apartment rang, making me jump slightly before looking at the time. Shouta did say he would be here within the hour, and it's not long gone past 5pm. I skipped over to the door and pulled it open to see Shouta wearing a casual black shirt and dress pants with his black hair tied up into a ponytail. My eyes scanned his attire once more before looking down at what I was wearing.
I chose to wear a pair of plain joggers and black T-shirt, so I felt really under dressed. To be quite honest, I thought he would have just turned up in his usual black jumper and pants.
I looked up at the man in front of me and smiled, "You're looking very smart, what's the occasion?" I smirked at him.
Shouta rolled his eyes, "There's no occasion, just thought I'd wear something casual, that's all. Anyway, here, I bought this for you on the way here," he said as he held up a tall gold-coloured gift bag to me.
I looked down at the bag and back up at Shouta, "You didn't have to Shouta," I smiled softly.
"I know, but I wanted to," he looked away shyly as I took the bag from him and peeked inside. Inside the bag was a bottle of prosecco.
I looked back up at him and smiled even more, "Well I know what we'll be drinking tonight," I said with a giggle before stepping to the side to allow Shouta into my apartment, "Please come in, make yourself at home."
Shouta stepped inside and kicked his shoes off by the door before walking further into my apartment, looking around. I closed the door behind him and made my way to the kitchen while Shouta looked around the lounge area.
I took the bottle of prosecco out of the bag and placed it in the fridge until we had ordered our food. I stepped back into the lounge to see that Shouta had sat down on the couch and was looking at the small selection of horror movies I had picked out just before he arrived.
