Chapter 23

3 days later
"Meghan Maggie's funeral is in 2 days." Matt said as he walked into the living room where I haven't really got up in 4 days since Maggie died. "I don't know if I can go Matty." I told him and he came and sat beside me and pulled me into his lap. "It's gonna be okay baby." he said rubbing my back. i started to cry.

"I miss her so much Matt. I can't live without her." i said crying into his chest. "Shh calm down baby." He told me. "I-I." I started to say but I couldn't. "Its okay you'll make it through this everyone is here for you." Matt said as he kissed my temple. "Now go get dressed we are gonna go out." Matt said and smiled.

"Casual or fancy?" I asked him. "Casual." he said and I ran upstairs. I took a shower and put on a Victoria secret pink shirt that was blue some black skinny jeans, and my pink converse and did my makeup and walked downstairs.

"Hey you lol good baby." Matt said as i walked downstairs. "Thanks Mattchoo."i said as I walked to say bye to my dad. "Bye Con Da Bon I'm going out with Matt somewhere." I said as I hugged him. "Bye Meg." he said as I walked away.

"Where are we going Matt?" I asked as we got in the car. "IHOP." he yelled. "YAY" I yelled back. When we were in the car I heard my favorite song. Trouble by Nevershoutnever. I started singing along and Matt just looked at me weirdly and laughed.

When we got to ihop I ran inside and got us a seat. We ordered our meals and me and Matt talked for a while. "I have to get a dress for the funeral." I told him and looked down.

"Do you want to go shopping after we eat?" Matt asked me and I smiled. "Sure, Mattchoo." I said. Soon after that our food came.

We were now almost to the store and all I could think about was Maggie. This is all my fault. If I wouldn't have been adopted by the guys then I would still be with her and I could have spent more time with her and we could have gotten adopted together and we would have died together.

I thought about that until I was pulled out of my thoughts by Matt. "Babe we are here." he said kissing my temple. "I got out of the car and went inside forever 21 to find a dress.

We went over to the dress section with was beside the panties and bras and Matt went over to the bra and panties section. "Babe you would look hot in this" Matt said holding up a black push up bra and black lace thong.

"Shut up Matt I have to find a dress." I said laughing at him. I finally found a black dress with some heels and Matt paid even though I told him I wanted to. "Matt I wanted to pay." I said as we walked out of the store. "Oh well babe maybe next time. Or nah." he said laughing.

When they got home.
I walked in the house still thinking of Maggie and how it's my fault And it's my fault Aaron died to. Fuck! All my friends are dead because of me. I tried to hold back tears as I sat on the couch next to Nash and Matt.

I put on a fake smile so no one would notice I was sad.

Jc's pov:
Meghan and Matt got him a few minutes ago and Meghan doesn't seem like herself she is usually like jumping around so happy or talking. But she is just quiet.

She finally left and went to the bathroom. "Guys there is something wrong with Meghan." I whispered. "No shit her best friend just died." Kian whispered.

"I know that but besides that." I said I said and Matt spoke up. "When we were going to the store to buy her a dress she was acting really weird and sad." Matt said. "I wonder what's wrong." Nash said.

Meghans pov
I walked downstairs and heard the boys talking. "Guys there is something wrong with Meghan." I heard Matt say.

"No shit her best friend just died." Kian whispered. "No besides that." Jc said. "When we were going to the store to buy her a dress she was acting really weird and sad." Matt said. "I wonder what's wrong." Nash said. And that's when I walked out. "Hey" i said fake smiling.

"Heyyyyy." Ricky said and all the boys laughed. But I didn't. I usually laugh when he does that but i didn't this time. "Meghan what's wrong?" Dad asked me.

"Nothing." I said a little to quick. "Meghan you can tell us what's wrong you know what right?" Sam said. "Okay." I said holding back tears. "Meghan you promise nothing is wrong?" Kian asked me.

"Why the fuck does it matter damn stop fucking asking me I'm not fine okay? It doesn't matter anyway!" I screamed and I went on my phone as the boys looked at me in shock. "You can stop looking at me." I told them. "Babe what's wrong please tell me.

"Matt said as he put his arm around me. "I'm fine." I said as I got a texts message

Hey babe I heard about Maggie. I just want to tell you that it was my cousin who adopted her and beat her. Surprise. Now you have no one but if you want to leave the idiots you live with you can come and live with me and Jeremy and Gabe 😏 we all miss you

To unknown:
I swear if you don't leave me the hell alone I will fucking put you in jail and I love the guys I live with and I will never live with your stupid rapist dumbass messed up people! SO FUCKING STOP BOTHERING ME!!

I sent him that text and sighed and threw my phone. I know I do that a lot.
"What's wrong Meg?" Connor asked me. "Nothing I'm fine nothing happened." I told them and Connor just got up and left. Where did he go?

"Okay now that Connor is gone what's wrong?" Nash asked me. "Fine I fucking feel like it's my fault Aaron and Maggie died. If i never got adopted then Aaron would have never left and Maggie and I would probably have gotten adopted together and we would have died together and that fucking bastard Jarred texted me and said that his fucking cousin adopted her and they beat her together so he fucking killed her!" I said but yelled at the end.

"Meghan it's not your fault that they died." Dad said as he walked back in the room. "Yes it is your lives would be better if you never adopted a fat stupid worthless no good girl that no one likes." I whispered as I cried.

"Meghan don't say that we love you so much." Connor said which causes me to cry harder. "Meghan your not any of those things your beautiful and I love you so much." Matt said as he hugged me. I decided I wasn't gonna talk anymore I don't want to hurt myself or any of the guys.

"Meghan you can talk to us." Jc said and I shook my head. Just then my phone started ringing. it was tyler so I picked it up.

"I'm going to Starbucks to meet up with Tyler and Troye." i said as I got up. "Fine be safe." Dad said as I walked out of the house and to Starbucks.
