Newt didn't know weather to be happy or angry of nauseous. Going back to WICKED is what he had said, but now that it was actually happening, he didn't know what to think.

"Having second thoughts are we?" Dylan said dryly. "I don't blame you, dude. I wouldn't want to come back there if I were you."

"Well I don't bloody want to go back. But they could know where the others are and that's good enough for me."

There was a sudden bump like the Berg had landed. They all waited in tense silence as they heard the pilot say the passengers could leave.

Newt looked at Alex and Dylan. "Last chance for a normal life you guys. If you come with me, there's no telling what's gonna happen," he whispered.

Dylan looked at Alex. He obviously would have been fine with leaving Newt but he wouldn't do anything without Alex.

She gazed steadily back at him. "If he's right, we may never have to be afraid of the Cranks again."

       "And if he's wrong?"

"I guess... that's a chance we're gonna have to take."

Dylan sighed and nodded. Alex looked at Newt. "We're in."

----------

When the Berg had taken off again, they decided they should get some sleep before they got to WICKED.

Newt lay down on the hard floor. He hoped that he wasn't leading them into a trap. These two were a strange pair. They seemed to have absolutely nothing in common, yet they were inseparable.

She was genuinly concerned about Newt and what happened to him. And she had only known him for like two days. Dylan didn't give a shuck. The only thing he seemed to care about was Alex. It was like she was his little sister.

Newt wondered if he had a sister. Or any siblings at all. He tried to avoid thinking about that. It reminded him of how much his life sucked and he didn't have time for that.

He sighed and shook his head to clear it. Sleep now. Worry later.

He closed his eyes and drifted into the dark abiss of a dreamless sleep.

------

He woke to the sound of landing gear being deployed. He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Oh good you're up," Alex said. We need to figure out a game plan. How are we supposed to do this?"

Newt looked at them both. They were relatively allert, like that had been up for a while.

"If we are where I think we are, then I know some of the layout of the place.

"What do you mean some?" Dylan asked.

"I mean I think I've been here before. But I'm not sure," Newt said.

Alex squinted at him. "What?"

"My friend told me about a plan to take WICKED down. I'm not sure if it worked or not. They might have just set the bloody place on fire for all I know. I have no idea though."

"Well that helps alot," he said, rolling his eyes. "Okay, first plan stealth, second plan, run if we get caught."

"It sounds like you've thought that through completely." Alex said.

"Well you don't seem to have any other briliant ideas Miss Know-It-All."

"Okay calm down," Newt interjected. You two can argue later. Right now, we need to move. Ready?"

They nodded.

"Good that. We leave the same way we got in?"

Dylan nodded. "Don't know any other way out."

Newt went first. Dylan and Alex followed closely behind him.

They made their way back to the room with all the seats, which was now empty. "Why's no one here?" Alex whispered.

"They probably got off at the city like they were suppoed to," Dylan answered.

"No I mean the crew. Shouldn't they be leaving too?" she said.

Newt hadn't thought about that. "That's true. Somethings not right."

"Well what do we do?" Dylan asked.

Alex shrugged. "Not much we can do. Keep going I guess."

They found the exit door already lowered with no one in sight. Newt poked his head out to see what was outside. Again, not a soul in sight.

The Berg hangar was huge. There was two Bergs already there not counting the one they were hiding in. It looked like there was room for more of them. The walls were all white including the ceiling, which was so high, Newt couldn't tell where it ended.

"Still no one out there. I guess we should find and exit?" Newt said.

Dylan frowned but said nothing. Alex looked at Newt. "You sure about this?"

        "Nope,"

She sighed. "Great."

Newt stepped into the doorway and walked out, half expecting guards to flood from every direction and blast them.  But none came.

After ten minutes of searching the hangar, they found the exit.

The door had no handle, only a keyboard with the numbers zero through nine next to the door.

"Shuck!" Newt turned to Alex and Dylan, "what now?"

Dylan grinned, "I am a master spy my friends." He walked to the keyboard and typed in the numbers and the door shot up, revealing a long hallway that was completely white.

"Are you kidding me?" Alex said. "WICKED's super secret society of geniuses use 1,2,3,4 as their password?"

Newt smiled. "Guess they're not as brilliant as they thought they were.

"How did you know that?" Alex asked Dylan.

"While I was looking around the Berg, I heard them talking. I might have learned all of WICKED'S dirty little secrets if I didn't have to get back to you guys," he said, grinning slyly.

Alex rolled her eyes at him.

"Well let's get on with this," Newt said. He began walking down the hall with Alex and Dylan close behind.
