"I'll pick you up at 7:00pm, yeah?" Adam asked me as he dropped me off at home. "Yeah that sounds good. I'll see you later!" I said as I waved. He smiled and waved as he backed out of the driveway and drove away. It was currently 3:30pm so I had a while before I had to go get ready. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle. I walked upstairs and sat on my bed. I turned on the tv and started watching Spongebob. I watched for about an hour and then I fell asleep.

I woke up and checked the time to see it was 5:55pm. "Shit" I mumbled as I got up and ran into the bathroom. I quickly jumped in the shower and washed my hair. I shaved my legs quickly and avoided cutting my legs. Once I finished I hopped out and got dressed. I didn't want to try too hard for this party. I decided on a dress that rested around mid thigh. I made some loose curls in my hair and didn't put too much makeup. I put the slightest bit of lipstick before I checked my phone. 6:45pm. I put on my heels and walked downstairs careful not to fall and die.

I was sitting on the couch channel surfing when I heard a knock at the door. I got my things and slowly got up. I opened the door and Adam stood there. He smiled and intertwined my hand with his and we walked to his car.

The drive was silent but it was a comfortable silence. When we got to the party the music was heard from far. We walked and the second I walked in, it was a quite a scene to see. Drunk people stumbling everywhere. I could smell the sweat in the air and it was terrible. There's always these kinds of parties but I hate coming to them. It's like a knot in my stomach that always forms and my heart rate increases. I breathed in a little before I walked into the house some more. I turned around to Adam and he was no where to be found. I sighed and walked to the kitchen. I looked in the fridge and found a water bottle.

After wandering for a good 2 hours I began looking for Adam. I saw so many people making out and there were a lot of people passed out on the floor. I was looking around when I didn't notice someone was in front of me. "Oh sorry" I mumbled walking away quickly. I walked upstairs. Maybe he had to go to the bathroom or something. I opened a few doors looking around until I stopped at a door. I inhaled a bit before I opened it. The second I opened the door I regretted doing so. There he was. Adam. My Adam kissing a blonde girl who wouldn't even remember what happened the next morning. "What the hell Adam." I said before I slammed the door in his face and ran down the stairs. My eyes were blurry with my tears and I couldn't see. I look for the door and ran outside. I took off my heels and walked on the cold damp grass. I stopped somewhere and sat on a bench and broke down. I sobbed and sobbed. Almost 1 year of a relationship thrown down the drain by one person. I stood up after 15 minutes and began walking back to the house. I needed to get a drive home but I refuse to go back with Adam. "Maybe I should just walk ho-" I was cut off by someone calling my name. I looked up and saw Luke jogging over. "Anna! What are you doing outsid- wait why are you crying what's wrong? He asked me as he saw my my bloodshot eyes and tear stained cheeks. "Adam was ki-kissing someone else" was all I managed to say before my voice cracked and I broke down. I didn't want to cry in front of Luke because he hates me but I honestly can't hold it in at this point.

It caught me unexpected when I felt arms wrap around me. I flinched a little but relaxed. I cried until I literally couldn't. The entire time Luke stood there with me and held me. I leaned out and he said "you need a ride home, don't you?" He asked as a smile appeared on his face. I laughed a bit and said "yea most likely" he chuckled and nodded as he took me to his car. He opened the passenger seat and let me in. He jogged to the drivers side and turned his car on. I looked out the window mindlessly and looked how outside quickly zoomed by.

"Anna? Anna..." I heard Luke say as I left my thoughts. "Oh sorry I didn't notice we were already home." I said as I got quieter towards the end. I slowly got out of the car and walked towards the door. I walked in and ran up to my room and changed into more comfortable clothing. I walked back downstairs and Luke was sitting at the TV. "Luke what's the time?" I asked him as I walked to the kitchen and drank some water. "Uh midnight. why?" He said. "No nothing, I'm just going to bed. Going to sleep off the headache. goodnight Luke. Thank you for bringing me back to my house." I said as I nodded and began walking upstairs. "Okay I'm staying here until your brother gets back so don't think you can get rid of me so easily." he said laughing. I shook my head and laughed as I walked up the stairs. "If you need anything let me know!" Luke called out. "okay Luke" I said as I got in my room and laid down. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.

"You're so ugly Anna" I heard someone say. I turned around to see the same girl Adam cheated on me with. "What did you ever seen in her?" She asked him snickering. "I honestly don't know. She's so weak and ugly!" He said as he burst out laughing. I tried to walk away but I was stuck to the pavement. The two of them were pointing towards something and I looked at the direction they were pointing towards and saw a car driving towards me at full speed. I tried to run but my feet were stuck. I cried before I was hit"
My breath hitched in my throat as I woke up. I looked at the time and it was only 4:30am. Luke burst through the door and ran to me "Anna! What happened?" I shook my head and said "nightmare" he looked down before he said "move over a bit" I looked at him confused but moved over. I laid down and Luke laid down next to me. He loosely wrapped his arm around my waist and said "go to sleep I'm not going anywhere." I nodded as I soon once again began falling asleep.
