"You got this?" Prince Ben asked, looking at me.

"I got this. Evie, Jay, and Carlos will be right next to me. We'll be just fine," I assured him.

"Listen. I heard you talking about not knowing your parents and your bad luck with DNA testing... Maybe I could escort you to a local office and get you tested, just to make sure it happens," Prince Ben offered.

"That would be amazing. Thank you, Prince Ben," I smiled.

"Just Ben. You've been one of my best friends since we were kids," Ben corrected me.

"Of course... Ben," I corrected myself.

"Prince Ben, Madame Sophia, Princess Mal is here," a royal guard informed us.

"Thank you," Ben said.

The royal guard nodded as I walked toward the guard. The guard then escorted me to the Cathedral. Evie took one look at me and grabbed my arm. She pulled me into a dressing room, where a dalmatian-style dress with a red ribbon tied around the waist was on a mannequin. I got dressed into it in a stall and twirled in front of her.

"When did you make this?" I asked.

"I made dresses for the five of us," Evie explained. "And here."

She handed me red fingerless gloves identical to Carlos's. I slipped them on as I looked at her in confusion. "Why do I need these?"

"It adds an Isle edge. And who knows? You might be part-Isle," Evie reasoned.

"They're very cool," I said, fixing the buckles.

"Told you," Evie smiled. "Ready?"

"Ready," I said, fluffing my loose hair.

"You need to wear it down more often. It's so pretty," Evie said, fixing a strand.

"I think it's just more... ladylike if I wear it up." I shrugged as we walked out, me almost tripping in my red heels.

"Well, ladylike or not, you're gorgeous," Evie assured me.

"Hey," Carlos said when I stood next to him.

"Hi," I smiled.

The trumpets started playing, and the choir sang. Ben passed the stand, and we bowed to him. Carlos held my hand sneakily as Ben walked up to the platform. Fairy Godmother placed the crown on his head and I held my breath. So far, so good.

"Do you solemnly swear to govern the peoples of Auradon, with justice and mercy, as long as you shall reign?" Fairy Godmother said, holding the wand out in front of her.

"I do solemnly swear," Ben said.

"Then it is my honor, and my joy, to bless our new king-"

Everyone gasped as I looked over. I gaped as Jane grabbed the wand and tried to use it on herself. A beam of magic shot through the window.

"Child, what are you doing?!" Fairy Godmother screeched.

"If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself," Jane said, struggling to get the wand into her control. "Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"

Mal stepped forward and stole the wand from Jane. The three looked at me solemnly before running down to their friend. What were they doing?

"Mal, give me the wand," Ben said calmly.

"Stand back," Mal replied.

"It's okay," Ben assured her.

"Ben, I said stand back!" Mal yelled.
