Forty Four

(Aash and Ashi turn and they saw the man was none other than captain. There faces turned blank)

Sanku/Tk- You know him?

Aash/Ashi- Well yes we were raised up by him.

Sanku/Tk- Then maybe we should go and greet him?

Aash/Ashi- Not now he looks quite angry. We'll go with him. See you too around later.

(The boys kisses their forhead and the girl move towards the Captain)

Captain- Get into the car!

(Aash and Ashi seat themselves and they head to the bureau)

Captain- You both were supposed to report me today back in the afternoon.

Aash- We are sorry but we really wanted to spend the last day with the boys, not as agents.

Ashi- Tomorrow is the farewell party after that we'll be back on duty.

Captain- I see you both happy with them. So I give you both a day free of duty tomorrow to spend with the boys. I have been with you both from a very young age. Never I have seen you be so happy. I lost my daughter in a mission and after that I considered you two as my own daughters. I know I have been strict with you but you know how duty goes.

Aash/Ashi- We are happy to have you captain as our guide. You have taught us to choose right path everytime.

Captain- You both go and enjoy.

Aash/Ashi- We might loose our smiles after tomorrow forever.

(Captain hugs them both as it was much needed. The girls started crying)

Captain- My girls are strong!

Aash- Love made us so weak that

Ashi- We can't !

Captain- I know how you feel. Leaving someone you love behind for duty is the hardest thing.

Aash- We both gonna hate ourselves for hurting the boys.

Captain- Don't forget if you two weren't there the boys could have been harmed. Now be happy that you saved their lives and enjoy tomorrow.

Aash/Ashi- Yes captain (and they both leave)

[Back to college. They both come back and head towards the hostel where they saw manav standing. It was already night]

Mnv- Wanted to inform you both that Tk and Sanku left for home as their dad called them. They said they'll come in the evening and together we'll go to the farewell party.

Ashi- Okay

(They both were going inside)

Mnv- Aash can we talk?

Ashi- I'll go back to my room.

(Ashi leaves)

Aash- What happened?

Mnv- Did Unns tell you everything about us?

Aash- How does that matters?

Mnv- I want to tell you something before you think of me as a wrong person.

Aash- Manav what you did to Unns was undoubtedly wrong and you have hurted her. She told you about her being pregnant and you are now just ignoring her. What happened with you was something I will always feel sorry for. Your mother suffered a lot and what happened shouldn't have. But manav you're doing the same thing that guy did to your mother. You know Unns will never want to give up on a child. I know she'll raise the child but what makes you think about it? Do you want that baby to hate you as you hate your father? Do you want Unns to hate you? she won't ever forgive you? She trusted you once again and you're again leaving her broken.

Mnv- (has tears in his eyes) I can't hurt Unns ever. I had a very mixed emotions when Unns told me about her being pregnant. I didn't know how to react and that's why I left her. I was upset all these days. I have been constantly thinking about this and trust me I don't want to leave Unns alone.

Aash- Are you serious?

Mnv- Yes now I'm clear that I can't let Unns be alone particularly when this happened. She is not herself responsible for everything, I'm too.

Aash- I'm so glad that you realized things.

Mnv- Thanks to you. If you wouldn't have come to me threatening me about not hurting Unns, I would have never realised.

Aash- Can I ask you something?

Mnv- Yes?

Aash- Why did you and Maya?

Mnv- You'll get all the answers very soon. It's late you should go back to your room.

Aash- but?

Mnv- Trust me. You'll know it very soon.

Aash- Okay!

(Mnv hugs Aash)

Mnv- Thank you once again. You have given me my Unns. I'll tell her tomorrow everything and make her forever mine.

Aash- Double party (and laughs)

They both go back to the rooms. And now it's the last day 'The farewell party'

We are coming towards the end and I already feel sad🥺
