Chapter 9 - Flustered

After freshening up, as I was about to do my makeup, I looked at myself in the mirror. I touched my forehead and smiled, as I remembered the kiss Jungkook had given me earlier. I know it probably meant nothing special to him, but it meant everything to me. I couldn't explain my feelings then, and I can't explain it now either.

I shook out of my thoughts, and continued getting ready.

After getting ready, I went out to the living room to see Jungkook, Jimin hyung, and Tae Athimber, sitting on the couch and talking about something seriously. Just as I was backing out of the room, Jimin hyung saw me and said, "Good Morning Neha!"

"Ah ... Good morning guys! Did you all sleep well?"

"I don't know about us, but I know someone who slept very well." Jimin hyung said, while wiggling his eyebrows at me. I felt my face heating up for the hundredth time today. Seeing me flustered, Jungkook flicked Jimin hyung hard on his forehead. "Yahhh!" Jimin hyung shouted at Jungkook.

Seeing them occupied, I turned to Tae Athimber and asked, "Where is everyone else?"

He replied saying, "Namjoon, Jin, Hobi, and Yoongi hyung went to get breakfast. Leena is in the bathroom. Also just call me Tae. Athi... that name that you call me sounds so weird and formal. So just Tae is good."

"Oh ok, Tae."

"And you can call me Jimin. No need for hyung and everything."

"Ok Jimin."

As we continued talking to each other, I felt someone staring at me. I looked around to find Jungkook staring at me with an intense look and a new emotion that I had never seen before in his eyes. At that moment, I didn't want to be just his best friend, I wanted to be more.

After the hyungs had gotten back with breakfast, we all settled down in the living room. As we started eating, I asked everyone, "What've you guys planned for today?"

Hobi hyung replied excitedly, "We were just planning on packing in the hotel. We have a lot of things that are all over the place from staying for two weeks."

"Ah I see. Do you guys need any help with packing? I have nothing to for the rest of the day, so I can help whoever needs it to pack."

Without wasting a second, Jungkook said, "I need a lot of help. You should see the state of my bedroom. With all the concerts and rehearsals and interviews, I barely had time to clear up."

"Ok then I guess I am at your service sir." I bowed my head jokingly. Everyone chuckled at my actions, and we decided that five people would go in  akka's car and four in mine. Akka, Hobi hyung, Namjoon hyung, Jimin, and Tae left first, while the rest of us made our way to the hotel after clearing up the living room and kitchen.

When we reached the hotel, we saw huge crowds standing near the entrance with BTS posters in their hands. Seeing this, Yoongi hyung called their manager, and asked, "Hello, we are downstairs with a friend, but we don't know how to get in the hotel without attracting the huge crowd in front." He continued listening to the manager and then cut the call.

I asked, " So what are we going to do?"

"The manager said that we can enter through the gate for the delivery trucks. The others also went that way. The manager will be waiting there to take us inside secretly."

We all nodded at this and I slowly made my way out of the parking lot, into the back. Oh man, this was going to be fun.

We finally made it inside the hotel. It took us half an hour to safely reach the floor that was reserved for the BTS staff and members. As Jungkook wanted help cleaning his bedroom, I went with him to his room.

As soon as we reached his door, he turned around to me and said, "In advance, I want to apologize for the huge mess." He then opened the door, my oh my, I couldn't even believe my eyes.

The room was huge and had a living room as well as a bedroom. The living room was filled with wrappers all over the sofa, and messy was a huge understatement. Jungkook winced when I looked at him, and said, "I know ... I know..." just as I was about to walk into his bedroom, he stopped me and said, "I think I should just put a few of my things inside before you come in. You can help me with living room until then."

I nodded, and went back to the living room and started cleaning it up. After I finished cleaning, I walked into the bedroom to see a huge load of clothes on the bed, but a lot of things were already packed. I looked around for Jungkook, but he seemed to be in the bathroom. As I walked on tiled floor, I didn't notice a bit of water spilled on the floor.  Not realizing, I felt myself slip. I immediately closed my eyes waiting to be met with the tile floor, but it never happened as I felt a pair of strong arms circle  my waist.

As I opened my eyes, I was met with my favorite pair of dark brown eyes. I stared deep into them, and was hypnotized. After what felt like eternity of staring into them, an alarm rang, startling both of us from our trance. Almost immediately both of us felt our faces heating up. Jungkook helped me stand, and worriedly asked, "Are you alright? Did you get hurt anywhere?"

"Oh no, don't worry. I am fine."

With that both of us started packing everything in the room, while listening to music and talking about random things.

After making sure most of the things were packed and ready to go, both of us sat down tiredly on the bed. When we called and checked what the others were doing, we got to know that they had gone downtown, and were going to go to akka's apartment after.

Hearing that both of us decided to just order some pizza and watch a movie. Jungkook asked me, " We can connect my laptop to the tv and watch. What should we watch?"

I immediately piped up and said, " Let's watch Avengers Endgame."

"Ok, that's a good choice."

As he set up the laptop, I turned to him and asked, " Do you have a shirt that I could borrow? I feel really uncomfortable in my t-shirt."

"Sure, there should be a spare concert t-shirt in the suitcase."

"Oh ok. Thanks Jungkook. I'll be back in a min."

After changing both of us got settled in the bed and pulled the blanket tightly around us. We then started watching the movie.

We were so into the movie, that we didn't realize when we fell asleep. That night I fell asleep in the warmest embrace that I had ever felt.
