[Y/N POV]
Being by myself waiting for Akko to return to get me did awaken some really bad memories. Of when I was left in Japan by my actual parents. People who raised me for five or six years and they just left me like that!
How could you do that? And most importantly, was Akko actually coming back?
I don't know why but I began to doubt her as the day crept on and into the night. It wasn't that late when I looked at my watch, but I was getting really lonely, confused and scared.
I was alone in a country that I hadn't been in for over a decade and had yet again been-
???: Ah there you are!
...abandoned.
Well I would've continued to think that if it wasn't for the voice that filled my ears and the young looking teacher that was stood next to me.
Y/N: O-oh s-someone has come to get me!
???: Of course! Sorry it took so long! We had a bit of trouble getting some other students there. And yes I know your probably wondering, Akko did get there ok. She was...eager to get you here.
I was relieved to know that Akko had made it and still really wanted me there. I don't know why I even doubted her!
Ursula: I suppose I should introduce myself before we get going! I am Ursula Callistis! I'll be one of your teachers during your time here!
Y/N: Nice to meet you! I'm Y/N! Although you probably already know that!
Ursula: Yes I do. Miss Kagari has spoken very fondly about you so far!
Y/N: Yeah...I would say more but I am really tired right now.
Ursula: Right yes! Climb on then Y/N! We can get going!
She mounts the broom she was holding and I pick up my things and sit behind her.
Ursula: Hold on tight Y/N!
We rise up into the air towards the strange glowing green light and into the Leyline.
Y/N: I've...never seen anything like this before!
Ursula: It really is beautiful isn't it? Especially seeing it for the very first time!
Y/N: Yeah it is. But it still doesn't eliminate the fact that it is making me feel sick!
I did hear a chuckle from the Professor and smiled a little myself. As far as first interactions have gone, this is a good one!
I knew that not everyone would accept me being there and if those girls didn't then I wouldn't really mind.
I'll make more friends.
As we exit out of the Leyline I looked down at the ground below and sorta freaked out a little and held the broom a bit tighter.
Ursula: Scared of heights huh?
Y/N: Y-yeah a little.
Ursula: Don't worry. I won't let you fall off! You can trust me!
Y/N: I-I know.
We flew down towards the absolutely massive school that was below us. The amount of times I was going to get lost here was going to be high, but it was exactly the same in Japan so I'd be used to it.
When we landed, my legs felt like jelly and I spent a few moments stumbling about trying to catch my balance.
Ursula: Don't worry Y/N! You'll get used to it eventually! It will just come with practice!
