Chapter 8: Watching On...

[Y/N POV]

Barbara: That looks really bad! Did you do that yesterday?

I nodded my head as Barbara was checking on the huge bruise that had formed in my leg after practicing yesterday. It was starting to swell now as well.

Y/N: I-it looks worse than it feels...

That was such a lie and she knew it as well.

Hannah: You don't have to brave it Y/N! If you need me to go and tell the nurse...

Y/N: Th-that would be great. Thanks Hannah!

She smiles at me and leaves me and Barbara in the dorm.

Barbara: I-I knew something bad happened when you feel off your broom that last time.

Y/N: I didn't think it would get this bad!

Barbara sat down on the bed next to me and rested her head on my shoulder.

Barbara: W-was it hurting last night?

Y/N: A-A little. B-But I think having you next to me made it feel a lot better than it actually was...

She blushed a little when I said that, but smiled regardless and put her arms around me.

Barbara: I'll always do my best to help you Y/N.

A quick change in positioning saw Barbara move onto the bed so she could wrap her legs around me as well.

Barbara: Y-you know I will, because I love you~.

She gently kisses me on the lips before burying her head in my chest.

Y/N: Th-thanks Barbara. I-I l-love you too.

I was ready to accept that Barbara wanted to be in a relationship with me. And it made her even happier than I thought it would.

Barbara: It makes me so happy to hear you say that~.

If my leg wasn't throbbing right now, I would've done what she was doing.

Barbara: You know what Y/N?

I look at her and I could see that hint of lust in her eyes.

Barbara: Kiss me~.

Y/N: H-Huh?

Barbara: Kiss. Me~.

Now this was a whole different side to her that I was discovering. She had changed so much!

Y/N: If you say so...

I start to lean towards her but she grabbed my collar and pulled me all the way in for the kiss.

She sighed happily as she let go of my collar and places one of her hands on my cheek and the other on the my chest.

I put my arms around her watch her eyes open and look directly into mine. She had such beautiful eyes as well. So much so, it was easy for me to get lost in them.

When she finally pulled away, a smile takes its place on both our faces.

Barbara: I think we're both getting the hang of this whole kissing thing already!

Y/N: Y-yeah! Especially since you were my first kiss and all.

Barbara: I was?!

I watched her eyes light up as I nodded my head.

Y/N: Course you were! Everyone made fun of me in Japan and always said I wouldn't get a girlfriend.

Barbara: Well they obviously didn't see the way I do. You're perfect in my eyes~.
