Two weeks had passed since Valor's return on Mondstadt. His arrival made a drastic change in how they managed on the daily. The Knights seemed to have more of a breathing room thanks to his efforts. Needless to say that everything has gotten a bit more easier for all of them, especially for the Acting Grandmaster.Jean was seated at her usual spot, but this time her head was resting on her arms. It seemed that it had gotten a bit awkward for her since work has been in her mind for the entirety of her seating since she became Acting Grand Master.
Now the lack of work thanks to her Master has left her to do... well nothing. It wasn't a bad thing nor she was complaining she was thankful that he was there to lessen the burden towards the Knights but now there's just nothing.
So suddenly a knock on the door alerted her as she immediately straightened herself. Entering was the Traveler and Paimon, a surprising but welcoming sight for her.
"Hello there, Paimon and Traveler." She greeted them, "What brings you here?"
"Hello, Jean!" Paimon smiled she waved.
"Sorry for the sudden visit, but we were looking for Master Valor." The Traveler replied.
"Yeah! We wanted to learn a few lessons from him!" Paimon added as she punched the air, "But we've searched all around the town and he's not here."
"Oh, I see." She replied, "Normally he would inform me of his return by coming here, though the work that he took must've been a bit overloaded even for his sake." She continued, "So I would guess that he's on Windrise resting."
"Woah! How do you know so much?" Paimon asked as she stood up.
"I-I.. Well, he used to do the same when... I was under his care.." She reddens, "Whenever he was tired he'd make his way to Windrise and take a rest at the great tree."
"There? But isn't it dangerous?" They questioned.
"Well considering he is the Captain of the Scouts, I don't think there's anything to worry about." Jean replied, "Long expeditions are what they're known for, and since he was the old Cavalry Captain it's usual for him." She then started to walk over them, "Shall we go?"
"You're coming with us?" Paimon asked, "But.. don't you have work to do?"
Jean chuckled, "Well... currently there's not a lot of work to be done." Eyeing the table that was usually full of stacked papers.
"Woah... Master Valor's hard work is paying off." The Traveler said, "You must have a lot of free time now Jean! Considering you finish most of the work here since he takes care of the outside work now."
"Y-Yes... and to be honest... I'm not used to it." She replied, "It's been... awkward for the past few days now." She gave them a sly smile.
"Well let's head over to Windrise then!" Paimon cheered, "You lead the way, Jean!"
She nods as they made their way outside the headquarters to the outside walls.

The cool breeze ruffled the leaves of the massive oak tree. At the foot of the tree rests the man they were looking for. Valor has his head rested at the trunk as his spear was the same.
Thankfully no monsters had gotten to him yet and they were the first ones to arrive. Jean went ahead and gently woke him up. Valor and Jean's eyes met as he smiled.
