Chapter- 3

The next morning.......

Oh no,I'm late!!!!

Mom! Why didn't you waken me up ?
Damn it..... Mom and dad are at halmeoni's ( grandmother's) place as she is sick....

I hurriedly got up and started doing the morning rituals, brushing my teeth and doing the shower. I skipped my breakfast as I didn't had any time for it. I quickly grabbed my bag and rushed to the school. This is my first time being late to the school.

I entered in the classroom when Miss.Lisa ( our english teacher ) was explaining some chapter and I knew I was late. I saw everyone's eyes on me, I got unwanted attention which made me nervous and embarrassed at the same time. It was too embarassing for to be late as a good student.

Ms. Lisa saw me and she was also surprised but I knew what she's ganna tell me.
"Detention" after the school - she said.
And I was pretty aware of it coz' I have that the students who comes late definitely gets a detention.

After saying the detention thing she told me to take my seat. I saw Hyejin and Aesook were looking at me worriedly but I indicated them that I'm okay. I sat on my seat.But inside I wasn't okay coz' I don't know what they do in detention. Do they beat us.... Ani what the heck am I thinking calm down Shen everything will be fine. I couldn't concentrate in the classess because of which I got scolded with one teacher.

During the recess, the three of us went to the cafeteria and took our usual seat.
Why were you late ? - asked Hyejin.
Nothing... It's just that I overslept - I answer.
I asked them what happens in detention. There faces were blank as they also don't know anything about it. Then we saw Joong-ki oppa entering the cafeteria with Fab-4 and fangirls around them. Aesook said let me ask about it from him. She went towards him, she greeted all the members and had a little chat with them. Then they both came together to us leaving the others with the bunch of girls.

They came and sat beside each other.
Hey cuties - he said.

Hey sunbae - we greeted.

I wanna ask you about something - said Aesook to him.

Ne, continue - he nodded and replied.

She told him the full matter.

First of all he laughed and congratulated me for getting my first detention.

I looked down being sad.

Aesook slightly pushed him to be serious.

Ne. He nodded controlling his laughter.

First of all why are you so nervous on such a lame thing shenyue. It's just a detention. I have also got many detention for not doing the homework or being late so its absolutely fine. And about what they'll do so they'll simply lock you in the detention room for 1 hour.
After hearing the word "alone" I sighed in relief coz' thought that there will be more people in there.

After having a little chat of here and there we went back to his friends. And I was not anxious anymore. The recess got over and we walked to our class.

All the classess were over now and I was ready for my detention. Hyejin and Aesook said bye and left. I went to Ms Lisa and she took me to the detention room and yes, I was locked up in it. I took a seat and looked at the surrounding, It was very silent and calm. I first decided to prepare for the test that is tomorrow and within probably half an hour. I was all prepared since I had already learnt that chapter once so it was easy and also because of this pleasant and quite atmosphere. I didn't thought that a punishment can be this much good.

I then saw a seat embraced by the warmth of the sunlight which was coming through the window. I got up from my seat and grabbed that seat. I felt very pleasant under the warmth of the sunlight. I fell asleep.

After some time, I was woken up by the sound of unlocking the door (I have a very weak sleep). The door was open now and Ms Lisa was standing there. I got up from my seat and walked towards her.
Your detention is over now - she said with a sweet smile on her face.
Jasoeahmida ( I'm sorry ) for coming late - I said.
Gwenchanha ( it's okay) but be careful next time, arraseo (okay?) - she said.
Ne....I nodded.

I walked to my way home. While I wa walking I thought that even though being late is not good but detention was quite interesting. I prepared for the test, slept under the warmth of sunlight, the pleasant atmosphere and everything was amazing. And I realised that while thinking I came near my house.

After coming inside, I ate some snacks as I didn't had my breakfast and during the recess I didn't had any appetite. After finishing the food I walked toward my room. I gently put my bag on the table and changed into a loose t-shirt and shorts. I laid down on my bed.

I was now thinking what to do now. I thought to play some games on my phone.Then, suddenly a message popped on my phone's screen. It was from Hyejin-ah....
