Chapter 24
Sidharth held Akash’s collar and Akash’s manager had opened the camera.. Kaushal and Adith were trying to stop Sidharth..
“Don’t you dare say anything about my wife.. I will rip you into pieces.. You spoilt brat.. Sala acting aati hai aur natak barabar aate hai..” said Sidharth and left him with a jerk..
“You have made a huge mistake Sidharth.. You don’t know what can I do..” said Akash.. The director saw that and he knew Sidharth was right..
“Hey, you both, calm down.. Akash, why are you misbehaving unnecessarily.. Sidharth sir, aap vanity me jao, ek break lelo.. Hum fir se continue karte hai.. Tab tak jitna shoot hua hai mai dekhta hu wo kaisa hua hai.. Agar kuch reshoot karna hai toh ek din extend karna padega..” said Mr. Kapoor and left without waiting for Sidharth’s response..
Sidharth was shocked, “What? A day more.. I can’t do this.. Meko Shehnaaz ke pass jana hai.. I can’t leave her alone..” said Sidharth to Kaushal.. Akash had not left, “Biwi ke Pallu me hi tu seedha aadmi hai.. Puri duniya ko pata hai sala kitna neech hai tu..” said Akash..
Sidharth turned around and pushed Akash, “Just shut up you piece of shit.. You don’t even know what’s happening in my life.. Mai jaisa bhi hu mai khush hu.. Mai tere muh lag nahi raha hu toh tu bhi mat lag..” said Sidharth..
“Chor do na bhai.. Aapka level alag hai..” said Adith pulling Sidharth away and taking him into the vanity..
By the time, Akash’s manager had leaked the video where Sidharth was holding Akash’s collar.. Shehnaaz was asleep in the evening.. She got up in a while.. She saw her phone; it had a few missed calls from Sidharth and multiple messages..
There were a few news headlines popping in her notification bar and she saw it had Sidharth’s name.. Before calling him back, she tapped on the news.. She saw Sidharth pulling Akash’s collar and her heart was in her mouth..
Shehnaaz quickly called Sidharth but his phone was switched off.. Shehnaaz started getting worried..
“Ye phone kyu nahi utha raha hai.. band kar diya hai, pata nai kya chahta hai.. Bas wo thik ho..” said Shehnaaz.. Surbhi heard it and asked her, “Kya hua hai? Sab thik hai na?”
“Sidharth ke koi news headline chapa hai jisme wo ek admi ka shirt pakad liya hai.. Ab wo phone nai utha rhaa hai.. Band kar ke rakha hua hai..” said Shehnaaz.. Her heartbeat was high and she didn’t know what to do..
Shehnaaz was losing it.. She went out of the bedroom and Surbhi wasn’t understanding what was wrong.. She called Kaushal but his phone wasn’t reachable..
“Maaa.. Ammaa..” said Shehnaaz and threw herself on both of them as they sat next to each other..
“Shehnaaz..” both the mothers said at once.. “Kya hua bache?” asked Mom.. Rubbing her back.. Shehnaaz didn’t know what to do or what to say..
“Maaa, Sidhaaartthh..” said Shehnaaz and she broke down.. She didn’t know how to react.. What to do.. She didn’t know what exactly had happened.. She didn’t talk to Sidharth.. She didn’t know what had happened..
Mommy Gill left Shehnaaz with Rita Maa and she called Shehbaaz and Rajbir.. “Kya ho gaya hai Sana ko? Tum dono jaldi ghar aao..” said Mommy Gill..
Rita Maa didn’t ask anything to Shehnaaz.. She just held her in her arms trying to calm her down.. “Shehnaaz, tu shant ho ja.. Sab thik hoga.. Meri Bachi..” cooed Mom..
The brothers came and the whole family was with Shehnaaz.. Shehnaaz knew this.. She felt Sidharth was alone there.. Mom looked at her, she had calmed down a little, “Ab bata hua kya hai?” asked Mom..
Surbhi came and showed them the clips which had gone viral.. “Shehnaaz, bache.. Tu shant reh.. Sidharth se Baat hui? Usne bataya kya hua hai? Sab Jaan Le.. Fir react kar.. Pareshan mat ho..” said Rita Maa..
“Wahi toh problem hai Maa, Baat Ho hi nahi rahi hai.. Uska phone hi out of range bata raha hai.. Mai pata nai kyu itna dar rahi hu.. Mera Jee ghabra raha hai.. Wo thik toh hoga na.. Hamari kal se Baat nahi hui hai.. Itna mehnat karta hai wo fir bhi aisa footage log uska leak karte hai.. Kyu hota hai uske sath aisa.” Said Shehnaaz, shedding more tears..
“Sana, mai Kaushal se Baat karne ki koshish kar rahi hu.. Aap please dawai lo.. Time ho gaya hai..” said Surbhi.. Shehnaaz lost it on her, “Yaha Sidharth ka ata Pata nai hai, uske baare me ye faltu articles chap rahe hai, tumko meri dawai ki padi hai.. Please, abhi mere se ye sab mat bolo warna mera gussa tumpe nikal jaega..” said Shehnaaz..
“Shehnaaz, bache calm down.. Wo sahi Keh rahi hai.. Sab thik hoga.. Tu bas dawai lele.. Warna Sidharth bhi bhadak jaega..” said Rita Maa, very calmly, rubbing her back and smiling at her so that she understands..
Mommy Gill handed her a glass of water and Surbhi gave her the medicines.. She took it and grabbed her phone again.. Trying to contact Sidharth or Adith or Kaushal..
“Kisi ka phone nai lag raha.. Kya hua hai mere Sidharth ko.. Baba Ji, Meher karo mere Sidharth pe.. Usko ghar le aao bas..” said Shehnaaz..
In the shoot location, Sidharth was highly frustrated because of the delay in shoot.. Thankfully, the director was in the support of Sidharrth so he wasn’t having a hard time.
“Bro, my wife isn’t well and that’s the reason why I want to finish the work soon.. I didn’t say anything but ye ek din ka delay hua isliye mera control gaya.. Aap nai jante wo mere bina nai reh sakti, mai uske bina nai reh sakta.. Kaam ke liye hum alag hote hai..” Sidharth kept blabbering and the director stopped him, “Bhai, calm down.. Aap dono ko Bigg Boss se dekha hu.. Shant ho jao.. Mai samjh sakta hu.. Aapka sequence zyada reshoot nai karna hai.. Sirf Akash wala face off abhi kar lete hai.. Aap chale jao..” said Akash and Sidharth was relieved to know this..
“Thanks Man.. It really means a lot..” said Sidharth and went into his vanity to get ready. He tried calling Shehnaaz again but there was no network..
“I really want to talk to her..” said Sidharth.. “Bhai, aapka shoot ho jaega hum raat me hi nikal jaenge ghar ke liye..” said Adith and Kaushal agreed with it..
“Ha bas mai khatam karu ye..” said Sidharth and his make up artist did the needful.. Sidharth looked like a warrior in the makeup.. “Bhai, kamal lag rahe ho..” said Adith..
Sidharth smiled at him, “Thank you guys for always being with me..” said Sidharrth and hugged his team members one by one..
Sidharth went into the shoot location and started doing his work..
In Bombay, Shehnaaz wasn’t calming down.. “Uske bare me sab utla bolte hai hamesha.. Kyu aisa hota hai uske sath.. Har baar usko prove karna padhta hai..” Said Shehnaaz, sobbing again..
The mothers didn’t know how to calm her down.. Shehbaaz held her in his arms, “Acha bas ab.. Shant ho ja.. Sidharth aa jaega.. Mere pe bharosa rakh..” said Baaz, trying to calm her down..
Brothers can do wonders when it comes to their sisters.. “Meri Jaan, aja soh ja thodi der.. Roh-Roh ke aankh suja di hai..” said Baaz.. patting her forehead soflty and made her sleep on his lap.. Shehnaaz put her head on the pillow and Baaz kept patting her head softly..
Baaz kept trying to call Sidharth again but nothing seemed to happen..
Shehnaaz woke up with a jerk and said, “Sidhaarthhh..” Baaz held her in his arms again, “Motto, shant ho ja.. Sidharrth aa jaega.. Social media pe uske against kuch bhi nahi hai.. Sab uske support me hai..” said Baaz.. Shehnaaz didn’t believe him and grabbed her phone..
Every time, things are not positive.. Sometimes, things are negative too.. Shehnaaz eyes went on the negative headline by mistake and she got scared..
“Ab firse Sidharth ko duniya ko explanation dena hoga..” Said Shehnaaz and her eyes closed again..
“Motto!” said Baaz but she didn’t say anything.. She was unconscious out of stress.. Baaz lifted her up and took her out..
“Maa, Aunty, Bir, Sana behosh ho gayi hai.. Tu gadi nikal.. Maa aap dono sath me aa jao..” said Baaz and they all obeyed..
Mommy Gill panicked too but Rita Maa managed her, “Aap fikar na karo, sab thik hoga..” said Rita Maa and the ladies held the unconscious Shehnaaz on their laps..
Baaz drove and Rajbir called the hospital and they headed towards it.. Thankfully, there was a hospital that did not have Covid Patients and they admitted Shehnaaz in it..
Sidharth finished his shoot and thanked the director once again.. On the way to his car, Akash told Sidharth, “You will regret it..”
Sidharth turned around, “Dude, we’ll see..” saying so he sat in the car and they all left leaving Akash behind..
Promo- Sidharth reached home, found the house empty.. Kavita Tai told him, “Sab Shehnaaz ko hospital leke gaye hai.. Wo achanak se rote hue behosh ho gayi thi..” said Tai and Sidharth lost it..
“Achanak se kya ho gaya meri Shehnaaz ko?” asked Sidharth, losing his cool completely..
