Chapter 26
Sidharth was overwhelmed.. Shehnaaz didn’t know how to react.. From a tensed situation, they both had gone to some other situation altogether..
Sidharth hugged Shehnaaz tight.. “I am so happy baby..” said Sidharth.. Shehnaaz didn’t want to give false hope.. “Sidharth.. Putthu.. Ruk Jaa abhi.. Kabhi-kabhi periods ka date fluctuate hota hai.. Abhi se mat khush ho Jaa.. Warna baad me zyada dukh hoega..” said Shehnaaz..
“Aisa soch hi mat na baby.. Just imagine.. Hum parents banenge.. Choti si princess ya fir chota sa Sher paida hoga..” said Sidharth.. His happiness knew no bounds.. But Shehnaaz wasn’t going into that zone.. She knew how false hope turns out to be.. She wanted to be sure before celebrating..
“Acha, jaisi teri marzi.. Lekin meri ek Baat sun Sidharth.. Hum ghar me abhi nahi bolenge.. Pehle test karenge uske baad jab sure ho jaenge tab sabko bolenge.. Laggi Samjh?” asked Shehnaaz and thankfully Sidharth agreed to this..
“Okay meri Jaan.. Jaisa tu bole.. Lekin Mai Tera ab Pura dhyan rakhunga.. Tujhe koi kaam nai karna hai.. Sirf araam..” said Sidharth..
Shehnaaz didn’t want to argue with him so she agreed.. But she had to keep her point, “Sidharth, mai abhi sab kar sakti hu.. Active Rehna zaruri hota hai aise time pe.. Zyada araam bhi acha nai hai.. Tu abhi ke liye shant ho ja.. Doctor se milenge.. Jaisa wo bolengi hum waisa karenge.. Abhi ke liye shant ho Jaa please..” said Shehnaaz..
Sidharth understood her point and smiled at her.. “Meri Mature baby.. Aise toh tu har cheez samjh jati hai.. Fir mere video viral hone pe apni aisi halat kyu kar li..” said Sidharth, running his finger in his hair.. He then pulled her closer and settled on the bed and made her sit on his lap..
“Baat hi aisi thi Sidharth.. Logic nai kaam kar raha tha.. Tujhse Baat nahi ho rahi thi.. Tu kitni baar ye prove kar chuka hai ki tu egoistic nai hai. Tu aggressive bhi nahi hai.. Lekin fir bhi jab tujhe log neeche kheechte hai na toh mujhe nai acha lagta..” said Shehnaaz, resting her head on his chest..
Sidharth pressed his lips on her forehead.. “Wo sab thik hai.. Lekin aise tabiyat nai kharab karna agli Baar.. Tujhe pata hai mai kitna dar gaya tha.. Jo tu bolegi, mai wo karunga.. Lekin Itna zyada stress nai lena.. Please..” said Sidharth and Shehnaaz agreed..
“Nai lungi.. Wo tu pass me bhi nai tha.. Mai pata nai kya-kya soch rahi thi.. Tu pass nai hota hai aur pareshan rehta hai toh mujhe kuch samjh nai aata.. Dimag hi nahi chalta.. Aur bure khayal aate hai..” said Shehnaaz, innocently..
“Mai nai jaunga ab se tere bina.. Agar koi shoot hua toh mai tujhe sath leke jaunga..” said Sidharth and she pressed her lips on his nose..
After a while, they got her discharge papers and headed towards home.. Sidharth had informed about their home coming and the breakfast was being prepared by both the mothers..
Shehnaaz was clung to Sidharth all through the way home.. Sidharth loved holding her in his arms.. Adith, being a brother to Sidharth was equally happy seeing both of them together again..
“Aap dono ek dusre ke bina Paani se bahar aayi hui machli ke tarah ho jate hai.. Itna machalte ho, fir sath ho jate ho toh fir shant ho jate ho..” said Adith, making the love birds blush like teenagers..
Adith chuckled at them and continued driving.. They reached home in a while and Sidharth lifted Shehnaaz in his arms.. “Sidharth, chal sakti hu mai..” said Shehnaaz..
“Chup baitho tum..” scoffed Sidharth, not leaving her and walking towards the lift.. They reached home and Shehnaaz hugged everyone one by one..
“Kaisi hai meri bachi?” asked Mom, followed by Mommy Gill.. “Haa puttar, kaisi hai.. Bol na..”
“Mai thik hu ab.. Bas wo stress ki wajah se ho gaya tha..” said Shehnaaz and everyone were happy..
“Acha chalo, dono breakfast karlo.. Late ho gaya hai.. Humlog already kar chuke hai..” said Mom and Sidharth and Shehnaaz agreed..
They settled on the dining table.. The mothers sat around Shehnaaz, leaving Sidharth alone.. “Haa ab bimar padh gayi wo to dedo usko Saara attention.. Mai ek hafte baad ghar aaya lekin sala meri koi ijjat hi nahi hai..” said Sidharth, making a bite of the food and shoving it into his mouth..
The ladies laughed at the big baby.. Baaz and Rajbir sat around him and joined in the fun.. “Awww, bade baby ko mai khilata hu..” said Baaz and made a bite, he was about to feed Sidharth and then put the food into his own mouth..
Everyone laughed harder and Sidharth sulked even more.. “Hadh hai.. Karo jo karna hai.. Mujhe khane do chain se ab.. Itne din baad ghar ka khana mila hai..” said Sidharth and continued eating.
The mothers fed Shehnaaz and the breakfast was done.. “Sidharth, ab bata.. Hua kya tha.. Aur abhi kya karna hai? Sab thik hai tere costar ke sath?” asked Mom..
Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz who looked worried too.. He nodded his head and held her hand, “Tu abhi firse pareshan kyu ho rahi hai? Maine tujhe already sab bata diya hai na.. Please calm down Shehnaaz..” said Sidharth and turned towards his mom, “Mom, I told you once that if someone will irk me for no reason, I won’t spare him.. That’s exactly what Akash did.. I controlled myself till he spoke shit about me and my career but then, when I didn’t react, he got Shehnaaz’s name in our conversation and that’s when I lost my patience.. Thankfully, the director saw most of the things and supported me.. Wo star kid ke against gaya because he knew I was right.. The director has given a statement in my favour and Kaushal has asked every media portal to post it so there’s nothing to worry about..” said Sidharth and everyone took a sign of relief..
Shehnaaz spoke again, “Sidharth, hospital me baat adhuri reh gayi thi.. Mai tujhse bol rahi thi ki tu kabhi explanation nai deta toh tujhe log kuch bhi samjhte hai.. Koi aadha sach bolta hai, koi tere bare me pura sach bolta aur koi pura jhoot.. Tu ek baar tweet kar ke apne liye safai de dena..” said Shehnaaz..

The way he gave importance to her and both the families meant the world to her.. “Sidhaartth, tu itna acha kyu hai..” said Shehnaaz, who was completely in awe of her husband, without realizing everyone were present in the living room.. Shehnaaz hugged Sidharth.. The family was happy to see them together..
“Hum charo Mandir ho aate hai..” said Rita maa and they all left, leaving Sidharth and Shehnaaz alone..
“Acha Maa, ab hum Andheri wapas jaenge.. Shehbaaz, Rajbir aur Maa aap log jaha rehna chahte ho, hume Manzoor hai..” said Sidharth before they left..
“Bache, hum ab Punjab wapas jaenge.. Sirf Shehbaaz yaha rukega.. Kaam karne lag gaya hai ye bhi music industry me.. Hamari kal ki hi tickets hai.. Aap log rukna.. Hum Mandir hoke aaenge uske baad jana ghar wapas..” said Mommy Gill..
“Agar aap log jaa hi rahe ho toh hum ek din aur yehi reh jate hai.. Aap log ko airport drop karne ke baad ghar chale jaenge..” said Sidharth and everyone agreed..
Everyone left for the temple and Sidharth wrapped his arms around Shehnaaz.. He dig his face in the crook of her neck and she pressed her lips on his neck..
“I missed you so much Baby..” said Sidharth.. Shehnaaz wanted to praise Sidharth for being so calm and composed while she was in the hospital.. “Waise Putthu, mai sochi nai thi tu itna shant rahega mujhe hospital me dekh ke.. Mai sochi thi ki tu bhadak jaega mere pe..” said Shehnaaz and Sidharth came out of her neck..
He cupped her face and smiled at her, “Ab to teen din baad tera pregnancy test hona hai.. Mai bhala tujhse kaise naraaz reh sakta hu.. Ab baap banna hai toh mature toh hona padega na.” said Sidharth, winning Shehnaaz’s heart even more..
Shehnaaz was getting some weird vibes.. She wasn’t feeling so calm.. She was getting nervous..
Sidharth noticed this, “Kya hua hai? Pareshan kyu lag rahi hai?” asked Sidharth and Shehnaaz stayed shut, making Sidharth worry a little..
“Baby, is everything okay? Please look at me and tell me, my love.” Cooed Sidharth making her look into eyes..
“Pata nai Sidharth, kuch ajeeb sa lag raha hai..” said Shehnaaz.. Sidharth thought she was nervous about the pregnancy test..
“Mummy ke wapas jane se pareshan hai?” asked Sidharth and Shehnaaz just stared into his eyes.. What next? TBC!
