A/N: Hey guys!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I have one. It's also short too, I'm sorry!! I've been getting writers block for the past couple of days. Here is Chapter 6 and Maya is on the side/top.

-------------------

Once I was ready, I headed out of the bathroom. At the door, was Marcus, he was crossing his arms.

"Okay fine, sorry Marc. But, it was funny though." I say, chuckling.

"Ha. Ha. Ha." Marcus sarcastically laughed, his hands now on his hips.

"Yeah yeah whatever, now come on, we have school!!" I scream, jumping up and down.

"You're excited about school?!" He retorts in disbelief.

"It's only because I get to see my friends. Aka, Maya!" I scream again.

I didn't even know why I was screaming. It was about 7:00 in the morning, and I was ecstatic about this hell we call school.

-At School-

The ride to our school was short, we decided to drive there instead of walking. As we walked to the gates I see Maya waiting.

"Riley!!!" She yells as she saw me.

We run and meet at the middle, hugging eachother tightly.

"How was the Bahamas?!" I say, still hugging her.

"Great! Oh my gosh, I swam with dolphins and turtles!" She squeals.

You see, Maya had an obsession with turtles, they were her loves. She had about a few pillows that were turtles and a collection in her room.

"Oh, hey Marc." She also says, waving at him.

He silently waves back at her. Looking around, as if he was trying to find someone. I was wondering who he was trying to find, until I heard a squeaky voice through the hallways.

"Marccc!!" The voice yells.

Christine. Why was she here and why is she talking to MY best friend. Maya and I were the only people that called him 'Marc'.

"Hey Christy." He smiles, wrapping his arms around her and embracing her. She sees me and Maya standing there, giving me a mean glare. Maya raises her eyebrows, as she glares back at her while I was just frozen in shock. All I thought was,

'I thought they hated each other. I never knew they were a couple. Is my dream going to happen?'

These thoughts were going through my head unanswered, that my head started hurting. My hands shoot up towards my head and I groan in pain. Maya hears me, suddenly grabbing me to see if I was okay.

"Riles, you good?" She says worried.

"Y-yeah I'm good. A little headache is all." I say, still in pain.

The pain was getting worse and I didn't know what to do, I suddenly fall to the ground trying to pry the thoughts out of my head.

"R-riles, are you ok." Marcus finally noticing, running up to my now crouched body.

"I-i'm fine. I'll be back." I say, standing back up and heading to the bathroom.

"Riley are you sure you're ok?" Maya runs behind me.

"Does it look like I'm okay?! The person I hate and the person I like are friends or something." I sneer.

My feet were now rushing to the bathroom, the black converse I worn were untying. Tears were in my eyes, just looking at them made me sick.

"Hey hey, it's okay," Maya tries to comfort me but fails, "You never really know until you actually see them hang out."

We finally reach the bathroom, and I slide down the bathroom door.

'What is with me and sliding down doors.' I think to myself.

I put my head down, trying to wipe away the tears that never seemed to go away. That was until I heard the oh-so-familiar voice, echoing through the hallways.

"Riley? Why'd you run off like that?" He says, through the bathroom door.

I sniff, turning my head down.

A/N: Okay so I know this is short but, its the only thing I could do at the moment. I've been having these thoughts that I don't like, so yeah. So I hope you like it!!
