A/N: Hey guys, sorry for ANOTHER late update. Urgh, school gets to me. But, I finally did it. Yay, with time to spare too. Anyways, at the top is Riley's room. On the next update will be Maya's room and so on. Just so you people will know what will be on the picture thingy. lol. okai enjoy chapter 10!
-Maya's House-
We finally reached her house, and already you can hear her brother, Nick, blasting music across the whole neighborhood. We began to head in the door, kicking off our shoes.
"Nick! Turn that down!" Maya yells through the house.
"Nah I'm good Maya!" He yells back, turning the music up more.
We groan, heading up towards her room. Maya's room was dark, she got some inspiration after she watched Tron. She also liked to play games and read books so she got some inspiration from that too.
She flops on her bed, spreading her arms and legs like a starfish.
"I am not going to jump on that bed with you in it Maya." I chuckle, moving her away.
"I mean, its my bed Riles, I can do anything I want." She complains, but does so anyway.
I give another slight chuckle and jump on her bed as well, which was another one of our traditions as well. Whenever we came to each other's house, we'd jump on the bed and land like a starfish. She almost broke my bed last time though.
"So, about that Marcus thing earlier, you okay with that?" She asks, with a slow tone.
"Eh, I mean, he can have friends, I was just shocked he was friends with them. The ones that had called us names for years." I scoff, grabbing an apple from her snack basket on the side table.
"How about this, we go to park, grab some ice cream or 7-11 and I can walk you to Marcus' house. Deal?" She says, grabbing her shoes she left at the foot of her door.I give a small nod, tossing the apple in the garbage.
"As long, as you don't leave me to play basketball or anything that I can't do?" I say back.
"Deal." She smiles.
We finally put on our shoes, heading out the door. Maya screaming at her brother on the way out.
-Park-
As we made it to the park, Maya had the decision to bring her skateboard with her. And me, the one not knowing how.
"Please Maya, why can't you teach me?" I whine.
"You're whining, and I can't because one, lazy, and two, you are too much of a struggle." She says, skating towards the swings.
I sigh, knowing I would be too much of a struggle for her to teach me.
Something catches my eye, Christine and Marcus.
"Of course they're here. It's like they go here everyday. I mean, don't they have somewhere else to go." Maya complains, thrusting her arms up.
"Can we go to 7-11?" I ask, or well more like, plead.
She nods, getting off the swings and we head off.As we are walking, we had to -oh so casually- bump into them.
"Oh, Riley, didn't know you come here." Christine says.
A/N: So that is the end of Chapter 1o. Awhhh, I know right, why did the chapter have to end. lol jk. but I'll have the next chapter up HOPEFULLY soon.
