The state of being not imprisoned
And that, was what Marcus was getting himself into. He's basically being imprisoned and brainwashed to do things that seemed "right" to them.
I mean, we can't stop him. After Maya apologized from that speech she gave Marcus -which I quickly forgave her for- she said he had nothing to do with us now. We had to stay away from him, and vise versa.
With him dating Christine, and us not being good terms with him anymore, we really can't do anything about it. They've pulled him in so deep, that I don't think we can pull him back out.
"M-maya? You think Marcus will turn into one of them?" I ask, referring to Christine and them bullying us.
"I don't know, he used to be close to us but, with the fact that he is so deep into their assholes we'll never know." She says, lightening the mood up.
I let out a small giggle at her joke, even if I was still a little sad.
"Can we call Luke, so he could comfort me too? I want both of you with me?" I plead.
"U-uh sure. I'll call as soon as we get to my house" She says, eyes staying on the road.

10 minutes later, we arrive at her house, and headed to her bedroom. She immediately took out her phone to talk to Luke, and I had headed to her secret food stash she kept in a hidden hole behind her closet.
"Luke says he'll be here in about 15, he's going to get us ice cream and movies!" She squeals.
She never squeals, well when it comes to Luke, she happens to do that all the time. She had such a major crush on him and so does he with her, I'm just sitting here waiting for one of them to make the move. I wanted to them to be happy, without me being the cause of a problem anymore.
We were sitting on her bed, me watching her play Black Ops 2 as we wait. I wanted to play with her but, I was exhausted and wanted to rest my eyes.
"Knock knock" A voice says from outside the door.
Maya's eyes widen, rushing to open the door, with of course checking her mirror along the way to look presentable. For me, I didn't really care what I looked like to be honest. Not right now at least.
"Hey Luke." Maya says nervously.
"Hey Mayss. Where's the little princess we have to take care of today?" He smiles, and I couldn't help but smile myself.
He begged to call me princess, one day he just asked us both on nicknames he wanted to call us. He also called Maya 'babe' and 'baby' from time to time, which I thought it was cute. Maya didn't think anything of it.
"Hi..." I whisper, standing up from the bed, getting up to hug him.
Tears were welling up again, just thinking about how we used to this, made me want to cry again.
"Shh, it's okay princess." He soothes, running his hands through my hair.
"I got movies and ice cream." He says happily, running to get them.
Maya running behind to help him.
I let out a giggle.
Maya and Luke pop their head back into the room, a smile on their faces.
"There you go princess, that's the smile I want to see." He says, and walking back out to get the food.
"Awhh, I love that smile and laugh of yours. I'm glad I got to see it again." She says, running back to Luke.

We've watched 5 movies so far, my head leaning on Luke's shoulder, the same goes with Maya. Luke was in the middle, I was on the right, with Maya on the left. Maya was already asleep, as I was close to being asleep myself.
"Luke?" I whisper, trying not to wake up Maya.
"Yes princess?" He says, looking at me.
"You really like Maya, huh?" I ask, as his cheeks redden.
"Yeah" He says, nervously.
"She likes you too, you know?" I say, my voice small.
He nods, "I'm waiting for the right time, obviously not now. Go to sleep princess, we have school tomorrow." laying both of us down. We were sat up but, Luke had put us both down, his arms still around us both.
"Night babe. Night princess." He kisses both our heads, Maya's just a little longer.
"Night Lukey." I say, as Maya mumbles the same.
