A/N: Hey guys! It's been a week since I haven't updated and I'm so sorry! But I do have an update now, it might be a little short but, it's something. So yeah! I'll update another I guess but, I've been having writers block for a while and I don't even know why. Okay, Chapter 7! Also, Christine McCarthy is on the side/top!

------------------------

"Uhm, reasons. It doesn't matter. We have class to go to." I say quickly, passing through the bathroom door again and away from him.

As I head off, I can hear Christine's voice.

"Marc!! Where are you and why'd you leave me..." She trails off, her whiny voice echoing through the halls.

I roll my eyes, walking away from Marcus and heading to class.

-In Class-

"Welcome back everyone! Who is excited for this year?!" The teacher yells.

We reply back with a 'yes' and a few groans. Maya was sat beside me, and on the other side was Marcus. Christine was sat beside him, on the farthest left. A few people recognized me from the last couple of years. There was this one girl named Keinah, I've known her since kindergarten but, we rarely talked.

"This class is boring already." Marcus whispers into my ear. From the corner of my eye, I see Christine glaring at me. Her arm was tucked into his, snuggling into each other.

Tears welled into my eyes, Maya just noticing the tone in my voice. She was talking to me the whole time, while I answered with short answers. I was afraid my voice would crack from the verge of tears about to spill.

"You know Riley, I don't even remember why we joined this class anyway." She chuckles, still looking at the board, writing down some notes.

"Yeah, but it is required to take History, and we didn't choose our classes." I said, my voice cracking slightly.

Hoping she didn't notice, I close my eyes for a minute. During the minute, I hear a few shuffles and feel a tear stream down my face.

"Riley," She trails out, " Are you crying? Dude, are you okay?" She whispers, clueless. That was until she looked across me, which was Christine and Marcus.

They were now fiddling with each others fingers and flirting.

"Oh. Riles, your fine, there are other fish out there."

"But..." I sigh putting my head down.

"Riley, remember what you told me before I left? You told me that you didn't care about him anymore. Let me see your wrists." She whispers.

I remember the day I told her I started cutting. All the tears and blood wasted from all the times I did. Every now and then she asks to see my wrists. I sigh again keeping my head down.

"Riley. Let. me. see. your. wrists." She demands, pausing at every word.

I close my eyes, rolling up the large sleeves, showing the faded but still red lines. Some were from long ago, but you could tell some were recent. She was still quiet as we were still in class.

"Riles... I thought you said you were trying to stop." She says, brows furrowed with disbelief.

"And I said try. I never said I'll succeed." I retort back, yanking my arm away from her, putting my head down again.

Tears run down my cheeks, the front of my hair covering my face so no one else would see the small droplets spilling down.

Marcus hasn't looked over in a while so I was safe. For now.

A/N: Okay so thats the end of the chapter. I did say it was short lol. I'm sorry once again though. But anyways yeah.
