A/N: Hey guys!!! I am back from a short break! I finally had the strength to write again, though I can't copy and paste which is weird. Any of you that are writing stories and have the same problem? Because it's frustrating. :((( Anyways, hope you like the chapter!

Today was the day where I could be a new person. Luke had woken Maya and I up from our slumber at around 7 o'clock in the morning.
"Get up! It is Sunday, and it is time for our journey. I had done some research last night and the colors you want on your hair will take really long. And will also be expensive, so count up your money and lets get going!" He shouts, putting his hands together.
We both groan, wiping our eyes and stretching.
"Reach for the stars!" Maya says, yawning.
That was something she said while stretching, which Luke and I found cute.

We got ready, not messing with our appearances as much since we'll get new ones anyways.
I was wearing black high waisted jeans and an oversized gray t-shirt. Maya wearing her favorite graphic tee and some black leggings. Luke wearing some ripped jeans, a white shirt, and a gray beanie that had a pom pom on it.
We head into the car, since it was still early, we head to Maccas and got some breakfast. The drive was about 30 minutes from Maya's house, so I had put in my earphones and listened to my music.

"Riley, get up." Someone shakes me awake.
I open my eyes to see it was Maya, looking past her I saw the mall. Inside would obviously be the salon and other stores to shop in.
Maya was now jumping around, way too excited to get her hair done.
We walked in, thinking what colors we were going for.
"So I want this purple color that fades into teal blue." I explain.
"I just want electric blue, if that's okay." Maya says, I nodding.
The worker had nodded as well, bringing us both to chairs.
They luckily had two hairstylists there so it would go by faster. Since both our hair was brown and not black, it would bleach faster.
"You never dye your hair before?" My stylist asks.
I nod, looking down at my phone.
"So this would be around 2-3 hours or so. I'll be walking around and I'll buy you food so you can eat here, I'll eat with you guys as well." Luke says, walking out.

About an hour later, Luke comes back with some Panda Express. He hands us our box of food and sits on a chair next to us. We shove down our food, which consisted of orange chicken, chow mein, and friend rice. Our stylists were done with the bleaching part of the process 30 minutes before Luke had gotten here, so once he arrived, our heads were soaking wet with blonde all over.
Maya had suggested we go below our roots, so we wouldn't damage our hair more than we already have, and the stylists agreed with her.
The process of the hair dying was quite tiring, but we waited.
*Another hour later*
"Woah, your hair is blue!" I say to Maya in amazement.
"And yours is like, like, galaxy!" She yells, running her fingers through my hair.
It actually looked like a galaxy, the teal blending very well with the purple. I was in awe, staring and feeling my hair. Even throughout the process of that, it was quite smooth. Maybe even more smooth that before I got here.
We were ready to head out of the salon, saying our thank yous and paid.
"Onto the next activity! Shopping!" Maya says, as Luke groans.
----
Another two-ish hours later, we had gathered our shopping bags together, and was finally ready to go home. We finished at about 12:00 in the afternoon, and were still full on Panda Express. So we headed straight home, ready to pass out.
The person at the salon had given Maya and me special shampoo and conditioner, that wouldn't wash out the dye quickly. But, just to make sure, we shouldn't wash our hair with shampoo for two days and deep condition both our hair.
Maya and I were so exhausted, passing out right as we dropped our bags, we could barely hear what Luke was saying.
"Night babe, Night princess." I hear, as he kisses our foreheads, Maya's just lingered a bit longer.
Even though it wasn't even night time yet, we weren't woken up til the next morning.

A/N: Heyyyy. How'd you like ittttt? My fingers hurt but oh well. It was worth it. Anyways, it's late and I got to goo to bed soon. aka, read some fanfics :b.
