I groaned as sunlight peeked through my curtains, its warmth touching my face. "Girl, wasn't Friday yesterday?" I mumbled before inhaling the mouthwatering scent of Mom's freshly baked pancakes wafting through the air.

First, let me introduce myself properly. It's just Mom and me at home most days. Before you ask—no, I'm not some spoiled daddy's girl dripping in designer jewelry. Though yes, my dad happens to be a CEO—the head of Yeol Soon Corporation—he's almost always at work. And me? I like to think I'm sweet... with just the right amount of sass.

"Sweetie, are you done eating?" Mom called as she hurried to get ready for work.
"Yeah, finished everything, Mom," I replied, standing to clear my plate.

**Later That Day...**

[Sunghoon's POV]

"Mr. Park!" Mrs. Sing's voice cut through the classroom like a knife. "Your grades are plummeting. What exactly is your plan to fix this?" Her glare could have melted steel.

I kept my mouth shut until she finally stormed out.

"Damn mate," Jake elbowed me the second the door closed. "You're giving off major ice prince vibes today."

"Rude," I rolled my eyes dramatically.
"My bad," he grinned. "So? What was that about?"
"Apparently I'm about to fail senior year," I muttered, running a hand through my already messy hair.
"You're gonna need a tutor, man. Like, yesterday," Jake said seriously.
"The last thing I want is some tutor breathing down my neck," I groaned. "But I guess I'm out of options. See you in class."
"Later, ice prince!" Jake called after me.

[Your P.O.V.]

Jinyoo suddenly appeared beside me, throwing her arms around my shoulders with her usual enthusiasm.

"Oh, hello Jin Jin," we both chuckled in unison.

"I miss you, hmph!" she declared dramatically, making me snort.

"Girl, what did you eat for breakfast? Worms?" I fake-gagged, giving her a horrified look as she continued following me.

Pretending to ignore her, I kept walking away. "Hey! Wait up! Hmph!" she protested loudly. "You really should stop doing that," I laughed while quickening my pace. Suddenly she grabbed my hand—"Gotcha!"—and we both burst into laughter.

Our laughter died instantly when piercing screams erupted down the hallway.

"Damn, did they spot a T-rex or something? They're shrieking like dolphins," I muttered, plugging my ears with my index fingers.

"Oh shit, you bitch! It's Enhypen!" Jinyoo screeched.

I started walking away again. "Are you coming or not?" I called over my shoulder. She hurried after me and grabbed my hands.

"Aigoo," she sighed, rolling her eyes dramatically.

***Time Skip***

Stretching my arms, I grabbed my bag thinking, "Finally I can go home, sleep in my own bed, and enjoy Mom's amazing cooking."

Just then, a boy with an adorable puppy-like appearance approached me. "Hey, are you Eunha? Yeol Eunha?" He extended his hand for a handshake.

I nodded with a grin. "Hello, I'm Jake Sim. Nice to meet you."

Shaking his hand briefly before pulling away, I asked, "Oh hello Jake! Aren't you one of the Enhypen members? What brings you here?"

"Yes, from Enhypen!" He fidgeted nervously. "Actually, I need help for a friend..."

"What happened?" I tilted my head in confusion.

He met my eyes with a sincere smile. "His grades are slipping badly. I heard you're top of your class—would you consider tutoring him? Only if you have time, of course."

"Yeah, sure," I smiled.

"Really?!" His eyes widened in disbelief.

"Mhm. What's his name?"

"Park Sunghoon! Thank you so much!" He suddenly pulled me into a bear hug.

I hugged back briefly before patting his shoulder. "Okay, okay—you're crushing me!" I laughed as he immediately released me.

"O-oh! Sorry!" He rubbed his flushed neck. "Got carried away..."

"It's fine," I waved it off. "Tell him to meet me at Euphoria Café tomorrow at 1pm. I should head home now—Mom worries if I'm late." I turned to leave.

"Wait, Eunha!" He jogged after me. "Can I get your number?"

"Okay," I spun back around, unlocking my phone. We quickly exchanged contacts.

"Thanks again! Bye!"

"Bye, Jake!" I called over my shoulder as I exited the classroom.

———-

"Ughhh," I dramatically groaned while pushing the classroom door open, only to find Jinyoo bouncing impatiently by the lockers.

"EUNNIEEEE!" she squealed the moment she spotted me, launching into one of her signature bear hugs that nearly knocked me over. I automatically lifted my arms to catch her while simultaneously running a hand through my messy hair.

"Okay, okay!" I laughed as she nearly strangled me. "We literally have homeroom together and eat lunch at the same table every day."

Jinyoo finally released me with an exaggerated pout. "Can't come over todayyy," she whined, sticking out her bottom lip comically far. "Mom's making me visit my boring cousin."

I smirked and patted her head like a puppy. "There's always tomorrow, spaz."

Her entire demeanor instantly flipped. "YES! TOMORROW WE BINGE ALL THE DRAMAS AND EAT YOUR MOM'S TTEOKBOKKI!" she shouted while literally jumping in circles, making nearby students stare. I just shook my head affectionately as she spun like a hyperactive tornado.
