Outside, snowflakes gracefully fell, their quiet beauty a stark contrast to my tumultuous heart.

I can't believe it... My first snow... with Sunghoon. No, stop it. I can't let myself feel this way. I hate him. Right?

My smile widened despite myself. "Great, I probably look like Jeff the Killer with this stupid grin." I slapped myself and retreated to my room to change.

Someones P.O.V.

The frostbit wind stung my cheeks as I trudged toward Euphoria Café, my breath forming misty clouds in the air. Then—I froze.

There she was.

A girl with that same familiar slope of shoulders, that way of tilting her head when laughing. My pulse spiked as I took an instinctive step forward—but she was already disappearing down the street, arm linked with a tall man whose broad shoulders made my stomach twist.

"Your place isn't getting any closer," I murmured to myself, repeating what I'd overheard.

That voice. That posture. Why did the man look so much like Sunghoon?

But it was her that stole my breath—the way sunlight caught the mole just below her left ear, identical to hers. That secret smile she used to reserve only for me. Three years might've passed, but my chest still caved in when I remembered how she'd whisper my name like it was something precious.

The café door chimed behind me, pulling me back to reality. My fingers trembled around my coffee cup as I tried to shake off the ghost of her.

She wasn't coming back. Not after what I'd done.

[Sunghoon's P.O.V.]

I got back home and found Yeji engrossed in her games. Seeing her, I shed my backpack and shoes.

"Again? Have you finished your homework?"

She paused the game. "Yeah, I'm all set."

"How was your tutoring session?" she asked eagerly. "Is Eunha unnie as pretty as you said?"

I shook my head, draping my jacket over a chair. "She's just an old friend."

Yeji frowned, eyes scanning me closely. "You're not getting along, right?"

I averted my gaze, busying myself with sorting my schoolwork. "We're fine."

"But you like her," she teased, poking my side.

A flicker of irritation crossed my face. "What part of 'just friends' don't you understand?"

Yeji shrugged. "It's just a matter of time."

Frustration simmered within me, but I tried to suppress it. "Stop imagining things."

As I settled on the couch, she plopped beside me.

"Just... stop bugging me about Eunha, alright?" I looked at her, my voice firm.
