Chapter 10

We got home and I got out of the car, I saw my mom and went to her

"why are you outside? Have you been waiting for us mom?"

She nodded and I could see that she didn't seem to be in the mood

We went inside the house. I was about to go upstairs when my father invited me to sit next to him. I rolled my eyes and stood beside him

"What do you want now, Father?"

"You know I want to make my daughter happy right?"  he smiled and I was confused why he was telling me this because he was always busy and we couldn't even bond.

"And why are you just saying this now dad? You didn't even care about me and you were always there busy with your work, you didn't even give us time with Mother. You are always focused on your computer. I don't feel love from you. You love your computer more than your family." I stormed out and I went to my room. I slammed my door and sat on the floor

"That's weird" I laughed at myself and slapped myself.

"am I crazy? Why am I laughing at myself?" i just shrugged it off and i picked up my phone

I was shocked at what my daughter confessed and I was suddenly guilty of myself.

"She's right I don't give my family time. I always have my eyes on my computer,Honey."

"What's that hon?" I approached her and held her hand

"I'm sorry that I'm always so busy.."

"It's alright honey, it's not your fault. You just want to work hard for the family. She just misunderstood it honey because you didn't give her father's love. I am sure she will understand you and she will forgive you"

"Thank you honey."

she smiled and I smiled too

I knocked a few times on my daughter's bedroom and I was confused as to why no one was answering. I tried to open the door knob luckily it wasn't locked I looked at her and saw that she was sleeping. I approached her quietly and covered her with a blanket. I sat on the side of her bed and took a deep breath.

Eunha .. I'm sorry if .. dad doesn't give you time. But you know that I love you very much, my daughter. You know that I will do everything to make you happy. I cancelled the meeting with your soon to be boyfriend and I am sorry for everything my dear daughter." I kissed her forehead and stood up. I closed the door quietly and left.

Someone is knocking a few times and I already knew who it was but I was too lazy to open the door so I pretended to be sleeping

I felt someone covered me with a blanket and I still pretended I was still asleep

He suddenly spoke and I heard my father's voice. And I was surprised at what he said afterwards

I sluggishly go to my locker. I took the books and put them in the bag. When suddenly someone tapped on my back I faced him and I saw Sunghoon carrying chocolate in his hand as if he was giving it to me and he looked shy.

"I apologize for what happened yesterday Eunha .. I promise I won't do it again." He raised his right hand and I chuckled. "It's okay Sunghoo-"

"Hello Eunha!" I saw hyunjin and he put his arm on my shoulders. he looked at me and was surprised "oh my gosh Ms. Yeol are you really even the CEO's daughter you are looking like sadako right now."

I rolled my eyes and removed his arm from my shoulders I looked at sunghoon and he seemed to have lost his mood and he suddenly smiled "Here's an apology gift make sure you eat that" he winked and left. I smiled and almost forgot that Hyunjin was still here.

I turned to him and saw that he smirked "oh sorry I forgot that you were here I thought there was a ghost behind me" he folded his arms across his chest with a frowning face "what did you just say?"

"Bro is deaf" i laughed and ran away "HEYY !!" he chased me "Do I even look like a ghost to you?"He shouted and I just laughed out loud and entered the classroom.

[Sunghoon]

"It looks like our new classmate and Eunha are having fun, bro you have no hope anymore, I'm kidding" he laughed and I just scoffed looking at them both.

"they're just friends nothing more don't think like that Jake."

"How could you possibly know Sunghoon? That new boy is probably her boyfriend and just transferred here to be with her."

"You know what Jake? Go back to your seat."

"Someone is jealous~" Jake laughed again and went to his seat. I just rolled my eyes at him.

But I suddenly thought that "what if Jake said was true? What if that's true?" I looked at my desk and looked at Eunha who was already writing. I smiled. "Please don't be in love with someone else yet Eunha.. please wait for me." I mumbled and started listening to the teacher.
