Hello~
This chapter contains ... a lot of stuff to unpack and more questions than answers. It's getting good, folks. More drama will ensue.

Jimin swallowed the dry lump in his throat as he heard Jungkook's painful words. He could feel all the emotions that any lover would have when hearing the news of an ex.

Jealousy, resentment, anger, and insecurity thrived in the Omega's unfamiliar mind. Yes, insecurity was a major one. And he has every right because Taehyung is beyond beautiful. He looked lovely next to Jungkook while Jimin couldn't remember the first thing about him.

He felt mad for feeling mad about something he can't recall. What a shit show I am, huh?

Then, there is that. The small little outburst of nasty that comes from nowhere and makes him question his sanity.

Jimin tries to calm his breathing as he pushes away from Jungkook's hold. The slimmer boy takes a seat on a concrete bench near the tree and stares at the small stream. He doesn't see how Jungkook's hand is still outstretched, holding a phantom Jimin.

In the months that they were together, Jimin has never expressed anything in regards to Taehyung. He only nodded without anything to say and pulled out a cigarette that they would share. Jungkook was unable to comfort Jimin as he watched him disconnect on the bench.

His soft face had said it all. More than Jimin had ever told the Alpha in the past. He was bothered and upset. Had he always had these feelings, even before the accident?

"So, are me and Taehyung fighting for you? Like a stupid contest?" Jimin asked with a scrunched nose, sickened by the thought of the press eating up all the drama.

Jungkook hurried to stand in front of Jimin. The taller gave him a harsh look before he answered in a final tone. "Me and Taehyung are nothing but friends. He is my best friend even before I dated him. That doesn't change even if we aren't together romantically."

Jimin saw in his unwavering gaze just how much of an emotional attachment he had towards Taehyung. It cut into his heart, and something flashed in his head. A blurry memory that brought the same pain.

Jungkook was angry at him... and Taehyung. The memory turned red just as a hand went flying against his boyfriend's cheek. He saw as Jungkook turned around, blood dripping from his bottom lip.

Then, all he remembered was running as fast as he could. He ran out of the building and into an alleyway where the memory stopped. Jimin shivered before he slowly looked back at Jungkook.

He glared viciously at the clueless Alpha in front of him. "Wrong answer, you asshole."

Jungkook pulled his inky hair back, making a frustrated sound as he looked up at the sky. They sat there in silence for a moment, the air heavy with tension.

Jimin scoffed and tightened his fingers around the baggy sleeves of his coat. "You're my boyfriend, are you not?"

The boy, barely a senior in high school and a powerful heir to a throne of enterprises, finally turned his eyes to Jimin. "Of course."

His unwavering voice was even more powerful than the resoluteness behind his fierce eyes.

Jimin stood up to match his height. "Then you aren't supposed to make excuses. You are supposed to assure me that there was never a fight to begin with because you are with me."

The smaller took one step closer so that they were only a breath away. He didn't know what came over him. It was as if he had been wanting to scream and yell at Jungkook for the longest time.
