I did another chapter because it was Christmas and it fit. But like now it's not Christmas... but imma still post it.

He gazed at the man that had fallen asleep on the edge of his bed.

The dark bags under his eyes told Jimin that Jin hadn't had any rest. He felt like shit for making someone so kind and sweet go through this.

Like a magnet, his attention flew back to the window. Jimin watched as the snowfall piled onto the frozen earth.

How calm it looked.

Feeling like a caged animal about to pounce, he tested out his joints by cautiously getting out of the bed.

Jin stirred some but went back to sleep by the time he was fully standing. The Omega walked step-by-step to the window, hearing bones pop into place as he moved around.

Once he got up to the small window, he brought his shaking hands up to the cold glass. The heat from his dainty fingertips transferred to the glass and fogged it up when he pressed them.

It was funny how this was the only proof that there was still actual warmth to him when he felt so, so bitterly cold.

Jimin shook his head to get rid of those thoughts and surveyed the room. Jin was right, it was so bleak.

Yearning to walkabout, he curiously waddled around the bed and headed to the door leading out of the room. His feet ached from the cold tiled floors in the hallway, but he ignored them and slipped out.

He didn't know where he was going. He just needed to think.

To process what his situation was before he had a complete, psychotic meltdown and hurt himself or someone else.

His conversation with the other Omega echoed in his ears as he traveled down the dim hallways.

"Where was I born?" Jimin asked hesitantly after Jin started to come around again.

"Busan. You loved it there. You spent hours at the beach, getting sunburnt." Jin sniffled, a small nostalgic smile overcoming his lips.

He tilted his head. "I don't live there now?"

The other's smile faded when he met his eyes. "No, you live in Seoul now."

"So how did I get here? To Jeju?"

"Your class went on a ski trip and I, " The brunette paused and looked away. "And I foolishly convinced my mom to let you go. I-I should have never- and look at what happened."

Jimin patted his hand before he knew what he was doing. It hurts seeing him so choked up.

"We aren't related, are we Jin?"

"N-No. But I love you like you were my own blood. So does Taehyung, though he could be difficult. Please don't ask me about your parents, I-I don't want you to get worse." Jin held his hand up to his cheek, nuzzling into it for comfort.

"Taehyung?"

The older halted his movements and stared at the empty spot on the bed. "That little shithead... He's my stepbrother. He's your age, Jiminnie."

Jimin side-stepped a nurse and turned around the corner to another hallway. From the corner of his eye, he spotted a large window brightened on one of the walls.

Gaining new interest, he padded in front of it.

What he saw made his stomach drop.

Babies. Peaceful, sleeping babies.
