Justin did not continue the issue of the lost ring further, because it was him who took it. Both kissed good-bye for Joshua tree and stepped out. They walked in the solitude street alone themselves, the wind seemed to blow harsher, but Melissa had her tresses plaited; thus it did not bothered her. She was totally distracted by the disappointing feeling of the lost of her ring.

Justin wanted to wake her up. "Hey girl, stop being so silent... after all it's just another ring!" Melissa fired up accusing him that it is his fault, "what do you know... huh? For you there's nothing beyond gelt, but that ring- it's a gift from my mom. Even though it isn't precious, it means a lot to me."

"Don't you dare insult me again! You're such a headache sometimes-" Justin's thoughtless words splashed out unknowingly. Albeit Melissa heard it sharp and halted walking.

"What did you said?" she questioned heart-creakingly. Consequently Justin too felt heart-broken for his meaningless and stupid words.

He comforted her saying that he did not mean it, but she did not listened. He slammed the sandy grounds with his NEO Sneakers harder that the dust encircled around him.

"I'm sorry..." he apologized, but still no response. Melissa seated on a bench at the right to the street near the bus stop. It means she has paused travelling with him and insists him to go along his own way. He had no choice; he moved forward towards her and knelt down.

"I won't say it again... Sorry!" Despite her burning anger and depression wears out seeing his humble reaction. She could not possibly be heartless enough to avoid it, thus she accepted his apology and made a deal that he cannot use such responses again. Justin realized how emotional she really is apart from her feistiness; that she is still childish not to bear blame against her. He learned that she too has an ultra-sensitive heart just like his'. They walked miles again, to reach the car.

"Is it expensive?" He asked.

"What?"

"The ring?"

"No..."

He remembered what he did last night, the way he took the fallen ring and the way he stared at it for minutes saying, "you're really strange!" And also he put it inside his pocket, not by means of stealing but with an indescribable feeling. He also takes the Pen drive when aroused her bag in search of a blanket. And he says to himself, "I think I might get something from this to help you..." After the recap, he smiles to himself and tells her, "they must have got somewhere when I aroused everything... That storm-"

After few minutes, "so, don't you have any boyfriend?" straight away he introduced his interrogation which seemed to be quite vexed for the type of girl she is.

"And why would you ask such annoying question?" she asked frowningly.

He laughs, "It's seriously been a habit for you to answer questions with questions!" Due to that reason, she decided to answer.

"No..." Justin was stupefied, "you mean you didn't even had one?"

"No...!" she retorted.

Justin asks, "But why?"

"Because, love is a not a game to be a player of__ it is sacred, in fact I don't even want to fall in love because there're so many things to do, but if there's something like that in my destiny I want my first love to be my last love. Perhaps, wait until the rightful soul mate comes. I do believe in true love, but don't ever wanna fall for someone," she answered frankly and heartily.

Justin was left completely bewildered by hearing it from a girl of 21st century. Rather asking the reasons behind, in lieu he asks does she really believe in soul mates and exclaimed whether she is really in 21st century.

She answers, "of course, while playboys like you cannot understand the sacredness of love. Love is not just a physical choice; it's a bond between two hearts." She aimed directly at his heart.

"Have you met him or like felt of it?" he asks again.

"No, I told you. Although I admire true love I don't wanna fall..." she concluded asking him to full stop this topic.

It is pretty weird to hear such opinions from a teenage girl these days; though still there is probability for their existence. Melissa is a great example of it. Justin was touched by her words and he complimented her, "that soul mate of yours is gonna be the luckiest of all- that is to have an absurd mind like you!" He started with a praising statement, but ended it smoothly with a bit of irritation. Accordingly, they encountered the unpowered Ferrari.

Their conversation did not let them feel what exhaust really is walking miles. Justin unlocked and opened the door to get his wallet. "Come on, we must eat something first now..." But before that Melissa dragged him to get in to the bus at the nearby bus stop. Both got in to a bus, which is probably uncommon for Justin since he has not travelled in a bus for so long. Plus he had his mask on to avoid being noticed by his lovely Beliebers.

It is absolute that Justin has a passion for Indian food; meanwhile he headed to one of the most famous Indian restaurants in Los Angeles with this newcomer to USA after reaching the city. "Indian restaurant?" she murmured. Melissa stepped back while Justin moved forward towards the entrance. He noticed it and insisted her to come in. "You are certainly not to be accompanied by a commoner like me and everyone will notice!" she said high-strung thinking about both pros and cons.

"Shut up okay... you ain't common! What's gone in to you... I'm wearing the mask remember...?" Justin consoled and his stomach was rumbling like a drummer was inside. He forgot that while eating he will have to remove the mask. Melissa reminded him, "ah... but you've been introduced as my cousin- so no doubt!" said Justin with a grin on his face.

Melissa showed her hand and pointed to his hand saying that her more than fairer skin and his somewhat beige skin is a total different skin tone to be called as cousins and that they have nothing in common. He understood that she is backing because of her shyness."Come on... you whiz kid! I'll take care of it... Now hop in!" he commanded and dragged her in clutching her wrist.

"Well, we have one thing in common... it's that we both are defiant and doesn't like being told what to do..." Justin thought himself while walking in. Justin ordered some short eats; including chicken Tandoori, but Melissa ordered Chicken Biriyani in which he has not eaten before. "Biriyani?" he questioned from Melissa glaring at the menu book. "Umm... it's yummy you know! With all the spices, chicken cubes, veggies..." she illustrated it vividly.

Nonetheless, Justin repelled his idea of ordering it, "it is morning... you cannot eat rice for breakfast!" Melissa defended, "don't be silly... Rice is my country's national food. Besides, I've been starving since yesterday... because a mouse has just eaten half of my food!" Ugh- oh, it was directed at Justin who left embarrassing. "Okay, 2 Biriyani's please... and with a side of Tandoori chicken" Melissa excused and added, "also with a side of chicken gravy! Shukriya!"

Justin stared hypnotized for the last word she said, whilst the waitress responded: "Salaam!" and she left to get the order with a happy face. Now that he is convinced to ask the question what was it with the words? She smiled and answered, "I said thank you and she said you're welcome. Eating Indian food isn't enough; you must learn to speak Hindi too."

He was enticed to her flairs and grew eager to know more. Blatantly, he was out of his mind that he is a real celebrity dining next to a non-famous girl more like a fan of his. Though, he accepted it all as a perfect moment; whilst the same was to Melissa. The two enjoyed the meal well, "Biriyani is yummy!" exclaimed Justin putting a spoonful of rice to his wider mouth.

And the dessert awaits... "Treacle tart is awesome!" Melissa commended. "What a gourmet you are!" said Justin, finishing his meal.
