Right as Virgil thought he was a goner, he felt something grip onto his ankle, keeping him from falling to the bottom of the tower.
"Huh..?" He said, doing his best to look up at who had grabbed him. He was shocked when he saw the Dragon Witch holding on to him.
"Hold on..I'll take you down there.." She said simply.
"But how are you-"
The Dragon Witch jumped off the floor, and she was suddenly levitating off the ground. She pulled Virgil upwards, carrying him safely down to the first floor.
"U-um.. Thank you, miss..."
"Call me Tiffany," she smiled.
Virgil nods. "Okay.. Thank you, Tiffany.. for..saving me there.."
"Of course.." Tiffany paused. "Roman sent you here, correct?"
Virgil's smile faltered, and he nodded. "I need to get back to him, he's in trouble.. He sent me here to protect me, but I care more about his own safety than he does.."
Tiffany's facial features suddenly looked more serious and concerned. "Oh God..um..I don't.." She sighs. "I haven't used my powers in so long.. I don't think I can even make portals anymore.."
"You were just floating seconds ago-"
"That's not a part of my magic though. I'm part Dragon. I can fly without wings in human form.."
"Human form..?" Virgil frowned a bit.
"Yes. I can transform into a Dragon if I want to. Though I'm afraid my magic is quite rusty.."
"Could you try...?"
Tiffany hesitates.
"Please, Tiffany... I..I need to get to my boyfriend.. Please..."
Without a word, the Dragon Witch summoned a portal. Just doing that took a lot of her energy from her body. "Save your prince."
Virgil smiled softly, nodding. "Thank you...so so much..."
Without another word being said, Virgil walked through the portal.
Although, he didn't end up where he wanted to go...
