I rush through the corridor, my robes flailing around from the wind as I head to the kitchens for late breakfast. It was the fourth day in a row of waking up late, I'm pretty sure that's a new record.I needed to get some books on HOM (history of magic) but for some reason the library doesn't have many on the topic I needed, so I had to get them before anyone else did.
"Yes! The last one!" I reached out and start to walk out the library.
"What do you think your doing with that book...."
"I wonder who it could be."
"...Mudblood." The dark haired boy scolded, crossing his arms.
"Reggie, you really need to find some better insults than just the ordinary slur."
"Your holding my book.." he stumbles to find an insult. "..Orphan girl."
"So, your main characteristics are stating the obvious, not knowing how to insult a 5th year girl, and thinking you own everyone and everything in the school." I ask sarcastically, counting on each of statements my fingers.
Regulus pressed his lips together in frustration.
"Was I right?" I smirked.
"You think your better than me?" He trys to snatch the book from my arms, but I kept in my folded arms cause if him to just look stupid.
"Oh trust me, I know I'm better than you and all your other Inbred friends." I walk off to the main hall for lunch feeling like a bad bitch as he stands there.
As I'm walking I feel a hand grab my wrist softly, I recognised his grip and warm hands.
"Remus, it's good to see you." I smiled, Turning back around to face him.
"You too." He smiled, but it didn't take an empath to know he's sad, but before I could ask what was bothering him when a teasing call from down the corridor interrupted me.
"Oi, vixen, whatcha doing talking to a Slytherin, can't be fraternising with the enemy so close to quidditch trials." James grabs Remus's shoulders from behind so he could peer over the caramel eyed boy to look at me.
"Just stupid regulus trying to take my book." I reply bluntly, motioning the book to draw there attention to it.
"Well... on another note, how's potions with Snivellus as your partner?" James joked, know how much I hated the slime ball.
"Oh, yeah he calls me the cutest little names-" I start blush.
"Really?!" James and Remus stare wide eyed at me in unison.
"Yeah, like mudblood, little bitch, filth... isn't it so cute." I start to laugh, not being able to keep the act.
"You had me there for a second.
Do you want to sit with us at lunch, you shouldn't have to study again." James grabbing my hand slowly walking backwards towards the great hall waiting for my answer."Why not." I shrugged letting him lead me to our usual spot where to other boys are seated.
I sit down and eat my toast Remus stile, with a different spread on each quarter (since he was so proud of it when he showed me) and talked about how much we hate snivellous.
"Did you practice quidditch?" James finger drummed on the table.
"Yeah, I guess." I shrugged, taking a bite of my toast.
