A couple weeks had gone by and college for everyone was in full fledge. Saying that Yasir was enjoying it was an understatement. The environment, the people, and the food had him hooked and he could see himself living here even after college.
During this time he and Leilani had gotten closer and he actually saw her as a really close friend. More like his best friend other than Xavier. That was until she finally let him be more than that. What he didn't know is that Lani was big on being her significant others friend first before dating them. It was just something important to her. He did notice how she became much more comfortable with him. They could have deep conversation or a talk about the most random things for hours on end and it came so naturally. She felt like home to him, a comfortable feeling that had him on a almost like a high. She didn't need to know all that though. They hung out often and talked daily.
He also still hung out with Laken occasionally. She did have weird things about her but she was a very attractive girl. He could tell she was growing feelings for him and although she was pretty, he still did not see her like that. Sometimes he really only hung out with her because he was honestly jealous. To see his brother having so a fun time with Kadence being gone all the time to go be gross with his girl made him want to honestly be with Leilani in a friend way or something else he always wanted to be by her. He didn't want to over step boundaries though so he took what he could get.
Currently, he just left his last class and was just gonna head back home to his dorm when he got a text making him instantly grin.
Lala💓: friend i'm hungry Lala💓: you wanna go get wingstop😏? i been craving it and fucking kadence wants to act healthy every since she got with ur best friend knowing she wants a burger and asjia always in class smartass bitch🙄 : sure lala😂 i'll pick you up in like and hour i have an assignment to do.
He wanted to call her something nobody else did and it would be inappropriate to call her bae right now even though sometimes he did it just to make her roll her eyes and blush, so he started calling her LaLa. She didn't mind it, she actually thought it was kind of cute.

He chuckled at how this girl got so excited about food. Leilani did not play about her food, she will cry, fight, and dance about some food. She did have to get used to eating in front of him though sometimes she still did she just felt like it was so awkward. He thought it was funny.
After he got to his dorm he took a quick shower got dressed in some grey sweatpants and a boondocks graphic tee. He then sat down at his desk to start on his homework.
Yasir was always very hardworking in school and always accountable to learn, it was important to him. Especially for his career goals he knew he had to put the work in and he was determined to do it. He had an assignment to get done and notes to take for an upcoming test that he knew he needed to be prepared for because he wasn't a good test taker.
