August's POV
I knew Kyiana needed somewhere to stay since her stay at the motel was about to be up. So, I was going to ask her to stay at my house until she found an apartment. In that time hopefully I could convince her to stay for a while. I was at the club waiting on Kyiana to get out. She came out a few minutes later. "Hey." she said, getting in the car. I smiled and started driving. Half way through the drive I decided ask her. "So you know this is your last day at the motel?" "Yeah." she said. "So I was wandering if you would like......to stay with me?" I asked. It was quiet for a moment. "Umm....are there any strings attached?" she said. "No, of course." I said. We pulled up at the motel. "Separate rooms?" "Yeah. Unless you really don't want separate rooms." I said, smirking. She laughed. It was quiet for a moment. "Okay I will but only until I get an apartment." she said. I smiled. "Of course, ma." I said. God, please let this girl see me as more than a drug dealer or a thug.
Kyiana's POV
I was packing my last bag of clothes. I can't believe I am about to live with the baddest drug dealer/thug in California. I went outside of the motel and waited for August. He pulled up a few minutes later. I hope this was a good choice. August put my stuff in the car while I got in the car. He got in and then, we were off. You just made the dumbest mistake of your life.
