August's POV
I was in my office when there was a knock at the door. "What?" I yelled annoyed. Everyone knew not to mess with me while I was in my office. The door opened. "Sorry didn't mean to bother you." Kyiana said looking scared as hell. Great August you just scared the shit out of her. "Nah no bother. Come in." I said. She came in slowly and stood in front of the desk. "So....what can I help you with?" I asked. "Well...I thought we could discuss a payment since I am staying--" she said but I cut her off. "No." I said. "What? Why can't I pay you?" she said. "Because I don't want you too." I said. "Come on. You are going to let me pay something for staying here." she said. I looked at her. "Come here." I said. "Why?" she asked. "Just come here. I won't bite." I said. She walked around my desk to me. When she was close to me I grabbed her waist and sat her on my lap. "Really?" she said laughing. I smiled. She looked at the clock on my desk. "I have to get ready for work." she said. My smile disappeared. She got off my lap and left my office. I have known this girl for what a week and some days but the thought of her dancing for someone else just pisses me. Well, what are you going to do?
Kyiana's POV
I was standing on the wall of the club dancing to "Earned It" by The Weekend. "Hey shawty." this dude behind me said. "Let me get a dance." I smiled and said kindly "You have to pay for this." I turnt around and tried to walk away but he grabbed me and slammed me up against the wall. "WHAT THE HELL? LET ME GO!!!" I yelled trying to fight him off but he was like twice my size. "I like them aggressive." he said. He put his hands around my throat and slammed me against the wall again. I groaned. I was pretty sure I had a big ass bruise on my back and side. I kept trying to fight but his grip was deadly. Next thing I knew the dude was pulled from me and threw literally across the room. Then the person that stood in front of me was August. He whispered in my ear "You alright ma?" I looked into those pretty brown eyes and nodded my head. "Go get your stuff and meet me outside." he said. I nodded my head. I went and put on my clothes. "Where do you think you are going?" my boss said. "I quit." I said. As I was walking away my boss grabbed me. "Bitch--" he said but he stopped when he saw something behind me. I turnt around and saw August staring at my boss with a death glare. He let me go quick. "Like I said I quit." I said walking out with August behind me.
*At The House*
August was rubbing ice on my back and side. As I predicted I had a big ass bruise on my back and side. "I should find him and kick his ass." August said. I winced because he was putting alot of pressure of my back. "Sorry." he said. I sat up. "Lay down." August said. "Why were at my job?" I asked. He looked away. "To pick you up." "Three hours before you needed to be there." I said. He sighed. "Fine. I didn't like the thought of you giving someone else a dance. So I went there early. Then I saw your small figure fighting against that nigga and I lost it." he said. "Well, yeah you did. You literally threw him across the room." I said. He laughed. "But thank you for saving me." I said. He smiled. "You don't even have to ask." he said leaning closer to me. "Glad to know." I said leaning closer to him. Then we kissed. And when I say he could kiss me all day long. I mean it. "Damn ma." he said leaning back smiling. I put my head down blushing. He lifted my head back up. "Let me some those pretty brown eyes." he said. "Sleep with me tonight?" I asked. He smirked. "Not have sex, August, Just simple, you holding me in your arms. Nothing more or less." I said making myself clear. "Alright, ma. I'll take what I can get." August said taking his shoes off and climbing in the bed with me. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to where our bodies were touching. "Good night, August." I said. "Good night ma." he said.
