A/N: This chapter is a filler for what happened to Aubrey as well as a continuation of last chapter.

Aubrey POV:

I reach for a powdered sugar donut. Theo asked Lolli to dance with him a few minutes back, which means I won't have anyone teasing me about how little healthy food I eat. Then again, I won't really be around anyone since Luca is glaring daggers at any boy who looks at me for longer than a second.

I see Abbie round the corner and take Luca's hand. She leads him to the gym for a dance. The two of them have a secret relationship. They have had one since the spin-the-bottle game. Luca accidentally slipped about it after I grilled him on information for why he and Abbie seemed to be getting closer. I know it sounds evil of me, but I'm evil, so deal with it.

"Hey," a deep yet soothing voice says from behind me. I turn to find Connor with both hands shoved down his pockets. He didn't exactly dress up for the occasion, since he's wearing a gray tee shirt, a leather jacket, and dark blue jeans. Still, he manages to look like a model.

"Hi," I say before taking a bite of my donut.

"You have a little sugar on you upper lip," Con chuckles. I use my hand to wipe at my mouth. Most people would have been embaressed, but I couldn't care less. Con raises an eyebrow.

" It is still there, isn't it?" I ask. Con nods before grabbing a tissue. He then uses it to wipe my lips. "Thanks," I say politely.

"You're welcome," he responds.

"Connnnnerrrrr," a loud, obnoxious voice calls. Belle. "Omg, I haven't seen you since forever!" she exclaims. Con rolls his eyes.

"So?" He asks sounding bored.

"Lets dance," she says in a very flirty voice. Connor's response surprises me and belle.

"No." Why wouldn't he want to dance with her? I mean, she is queen bee of our grade.

"Oh, come on. It'll be funnnn." Belle tries to convince him. Con shakes his head. Damn, the tension is intense. I have finished three donuts so far and I reach for a double chocolate donut. I take a bite of it and Con grabs my arm and starts pulling me away. Belle finally notices me and glares.

"Don't you think you're going to be overweight soon?" She asks with fake concern.

"Mind your own business," Con growls at her. A small crowd has gathered around us. With me and Belle on varsity cheer and Connor being the quarterback, people know us well.

"She can talk for herself," Belle snaps. Then she turns to me.

"I don't care," I shrug. Belle was the type of girl who would call people out on ugly looks, double chins, and weird hairlines. I couldn't care less about what she said because I knew I wasn't ugly, that I didn't have a weird hairline, and that I didn't have a double chin. If anything, I was prettier than her.

"Excuse me," a polite lady says. I turn  around, and we start talking. Her name is Cindy. I look at the paper she gave me and what she offered me and I smile.

"Why were you talking to Cindy Martinez?" Belle asks. I shrug.

"Leave her alone, Belle," Connor says. I'm in a classroom with a few people that are either friends with Belle or Con. Along with them are Abbie, Silas, and Harper.

Belle and Connor start talking in hushed voices until Belle yells, "WHY WONT YOU HAVE ME BACK?"

"Because you went behind my back and cheated on me with Will," Con hisses.
