Homework and the Party Begins

Mrs. Brown, the English teacher, said hello to the class and began the lesson. I sit toward the back with Stacy in front of me, a kid named Suan behind me, Josh to my right, and a girl named Bella to my left. Bella is one of the shy girls I'm nice to her, but we hardly talk. Suan is on the baseball team and is an excellent player. He's more of one of the smart kids.
I opened my flower binder and started takin notes when a note was passed to me. ~you and ur bro is having a party tonite right?~ Josh. I wrote down yeah want to come and sent it back when the teacher had her back to the class.
He sent it back and I read it saying sure and I smiled over at him. When the bell rang I got up and threw the paper out in the trash, heading to my locker.

Josh's locker is not that far from mine but still far, his is near the stairwell to the second floor where the younger grades were. I had lit next so I grabbed my lit binder and walked to class with Stacy, Matt in tow. "Hey," Matt said to me as he caught up walking on my right. "Hi, what's up," I asked. "Just heading to lit like you guys," he exclaimed. "I'm so pumped for your party tonight!" Stacy blurts out jumping up and down in place while we kept walking. "Come on Stace stop jumping like a lunatic and screeching like a little girl," screamed Matt over his shoulder.
I looked over my shoulder making quick sweet glances at a couple guys including Josh who walked into Math winking at me, but then at Stacy who frowned at her friends rudeness. But she turned it upside down and skipped her way over to my left again. All three of us walked into lit, well Stacy more likely skipped- she's always happy and giggly- talking about my party making plans.
School went by fast- hand in homework, receive homework- that's all we got all day with a lesson in between. Stacy is in all my classes, Matt is in lit, math, gym, and lunch. Jazz is in all of mine sides lit and math. Gray is in the older grade with Jay so I only see him at lunch. Josh is in my English, gym, lunch, and science. My schedule is English, lit, math, science, lunch, werewolf history, gym, and my extra period which is just a study hall. Everyone is in my study hall except Jay and Grayson.
I just came from study hall and was already at my locker packing my stuff up. Makeup bag, folder, notes, and handbag- ready to go. "Sunglasses on," giggles Stacy as we exit the school some guys in tow. We put on our decor glasses and walked to our cars. Stacy's car was parked next to mine, a red Nissan. She has pink fuzzy dice hanging from her mirror and a bumper sticker that says "kiss my ass" with a lip stick print next to it.
"I'll see you tonight at the party," she said opening her car door after hugging me goodbye. "Ok see you then," I said winking. My plan was to have Josh head over heals for me and hers was to get a cute guy. "I'll come early to help you and Jay out!" She screamed pulling out of her parking spot and waving bye leaving the parking lot.
I saw Josh heading to his car and decided to go over to him. Walking, swaying my hips, I got glances from the guys and glares from the girls or envious looks. Josh caught my eye instantly and smiled as he approached. "Hey, just wanted to tell you that party is at 8:30 and ends at 2. I'll see u there," I flirted twirling my finger on his chest. "Of course I will," he winked. "Great," I squealed reaching up on the too of my toes to kiss his cheek and then playfully pushed him back walking away.
I heard some whistles and some, ok josh!!" Coming from the crowd of guys that watched. I looked over my shoulder and saw him standing with shock but smiled once he saw me looking.

I shut my car door and walked into the front door of my home. A big swirly stairwell greeted me with a living room on the left and kitchen on the right. The living room already had a makeshift dance floor with the brown leather couches and center circle seat placed around it. Our flat screen tv was on and playing Habits by To Love. The coffee table was also moved to the side with coasters on it for peoples drinks.
Jay got a ride from Avery earlier so he could start setting up; he did a pretty good job. The light was replaced with the press of a bottom with a disco ball in the living room and I looked to see Avery holding the remote. Today was Friday so I was going to do my homework tomorrow today I'm just going to party.
In the kitchen beer and some strong drinks were set out in buckets with ice. I always made the cocktails, so I went over to start making them but before that I went to put my bags away."don't forget to make the cocktails!!" Avery hollered up the stairs as I entered my room. "I know, Ave," I screamed back peaking out of my door way smiling at him. He smiled back and left out of sight.
My room is on the right all the way down the hallway away from my parents and Jay's room. My parents were on the far left and Jay's was next to there's on the left of the main bathroom. An office for my dad is on the right of the bathroom. It's basically Jay's bathroom since my parents ad I already have a bathroom in out room. The upstairs is painted a tan color a little lighter from the downstairs. The downstairs is more of a light brown.
There are family pictures in the living room along with a fireplace with rare stone. There is a bar in the basement, a game room with pool and air hockey, and a lounge room with a movie theater size tv and seating.
My room is pink and has a white dresser and white head border bed. My down comforter is black and I have hot pink pillows, about 5. The two with black cheetah print, two with zebra print, and the last just pink. There are two white night stand on each side of my bed with two lamps, fake flowers, and extra stuff on it. I have a walk in closet on the right wall with all my expensive clothing, shoes, and purses.
On the left is my bathroom and dresser. On my dresser is makeup with clear holders, a makeup mirror, and compartments to hold my jewelry and sunglasses. On the right of that is a black fizzy moon chair with a radio next to it. A collage of pictures of things I like and memories se set up behind it with a quote in French above it.
My bathroom is the same tan color with more makeup, a blow dryer, brushes, flat iron, curler, and hair supplies are. The hair supplies is in a weaves basket along with my brushes. Shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are found inside the shower with a glass door and rock inside. The shower head and sink are silver and a keep calm sign is hanging above the toilet. A mirror is above the sink and hand soap is on the left of it. A closet with towels and extra things are on the left of the counter.
I put my handbag, white with a big bow on it on my dresser and walked downstairs. Of course I would come back up to change for the party, but I'm waiting for Stacy to choose. When I walked downstairs, I saw Jazz and Grayson had arrived to help out with cups and wine in hand. "Hey guys! Thank for coming to help out," I greeted them at the door takin the cups and wine from them. "No prob, gurl!" Jazz claimed following me while Grayson went to go find Jay and Avery.
The kitchen has granite counters a silver sink big island counter with all the drinks on it and bamboo stools. The cabinets are brown with silver handles. The fridge is silver and holds all the food platters I made earlier yesterday. A basket near the toaster hold coffee cups for the coffee machine next to it. A microwave is above the stove and there is also an oven.
I placed the cups near the cocktail glasses Avery must of put out and put the wine next to the beer in an empty bucket. The ice crunched as I placed them inside and Jazz say down on one of the stools. "You need any help, cutie," he offered. I laughed at him and said," you can't make a cocktail to save your life." "Nooo, I can," he exclaimed sticking his tongue out like a little boy.
"Stop acting like a kid and go place some platters on the coffee table next to the coasters," I ordered. "Yes ma'am," he said opening the fridge. "The buffalo wings, cheese platter, or chips with salsa," he asked. "Chips," I answered making the cocktails and pouring them in the glasses. I put all of the glasses on the cutting board and looked at the clock over the pantry.
7? Already?! I quickly finished the cocktails just as the door bell rang and Jazz came back from putting the chips on the coffee table. I ran to the door and opened it to see a gleeful and excited Stacy.
"Eeeehh!! I'm so excited!" She gathered me in a tight hug and jumped up and down. She had her hair own like earlier with a tight red dress on that came just above her knees with the back of the dress dropping down showing her shoulder blades. She had a red handbag and black pumps. "Let's go upstairs and pick out your outfit cause you are not wearing that; you already wore that to school," exclaimed Stacy dragging me up the staircase.
When we entered my room, she plopped on to my bed. "Ok so me whatcha got for tonight!! Waaaiittt, shut the door and lock it!!" She jumped off shutting the door and clicking the lock. "There we go," she said satisfied with herself that she noticed. I rolled my eyes and walked into my closet to grab the outfits that were candidates for the party tonight. I pulled out a strapless red dress that was a little over my knees and tight fitting. I pulled out some red heels to go with it and walked out laying it on the bed.
Walking back inside I pulled out a black sparkly one that did not have sleeves and it tight fitting also. I pulled out some black pumps to go with them and walked out again to place it on my bed. My last and final trip into my closet for my last dress. This one had is a minty blue color that is strapless and has ruffles that flow beautifully. It goes a little above my knee and the top part has silver sequins cutting across the top edges and down the center on a slant. A little flower of sequins on the right and random sequins are also on the top of the dress.
"Hmm, well the red one is out. I'm wearing red and I bet most of the girls will be wearing red. Sooo... It's between the black or mint," Stacy said narrowing it down to two dresses wiggling her eye brows. "I think I'll go with the mint one, no one will be wearing mint," I decided. "Eeehh!! Good choice ok I'll leave and you get dressed. I'll guard the door so no one tries to get a peak," she said winking running out of the room to guard the door.
I quickly got out of my dress from school and put on the mint one. Looking in the mirror of my dresser my tan skin looks great against it. I put on some white pumps and curled my hair a little in the bathroom. Diamond studs completed my look and a smokey eye with mascara, eye liner, and blush. I plumped my lips with Chapstick and lipgloss and walked out of my room to see and jumpy Stacy eager to see me. "Omg!!!!!!!!" She screamed so loud she had all the guys racing up the stairs to see why she screamed. "Sorry guys I was just excited over how great Tay looks. Doesn't she look good?" She asked wiggling her eye brows again. Matt looked like he was going to fall over and jazz was literally drooling. Jay hit both of them on the back of the head and they both said,"Ow, you look good, Tay." "Thank you," I said winking and giving the dress a twirl. Jay growled lowly and said,"Tay we need to talk about the rules of this party." "Great," I thought. Before he could though the door bell rang and we all rushed to go open it. Guess there is no time for rules; this party is getting started. I looked at the clock, 8:30.
