Piper's Pov-
My eyes shoot open. My surroundings are blurry. My ears have a drumming sensation running threw them. My heart is pounding. My head is beating like a drum. My eyes hook on to my mates. Mason.
His eyes light up as he notices I'm awake. My alpha is breaking down in tears in front of me. He reached out to me and clutches my cheek as a year streams down my face. "Your awake! I thought..." He said but I cut him off," don't say it please." It came out as a whisper but with his sensitive hearing he defiantly heard it.
"I'm so happy your awake. I'm so sorry it's all my fault," he sputtered as he broke down in tears. "Mason," I said. He still just sat there hitting his fists on the bed, so I tried again. "Mason," I whispered. "Yeah," he mumbled. "I'm fine, I feel better already!" I cheerfully exclaimed waving my hands in the air. He laughed whipping his tears away. "Piper, you have no idea what you do to me. I've never cried in my life, yet here I am balling my eyes out like a baby in front of you," he said shaking his head.
"I'm just that good," I said winking. "But it's still ok to cry sometimes," I exclaimed honesty lacing threw my voice and expression. I bet I looked like crap. "What happened? How long was I out? Are my parents here? Do they know we are mates? Does the doctor know what's wrong?" I questioned as soon as it all hit me like a truck. As I thought he would, he answered all my questions in order right away,"You blacked out. Three days and no. They are coming and you were just sick from the cold water and commotion that happened." All I could say was okay. It all hit me so soon.
"When will my parents be here?" I asked. He stared for a minute, but he wasn't mom linking anyone. "They're here," he spoke. " how you know?" "I heard the car door and there scent just hit me. My senses are higher than yours remember." "Oh yeah."
As if on cue my parents walked in. I guess they'll know now. "Alpha?! What are you doing here?! Excuse myself for my behavior but as you can tell I'm a mess. Are you okay, Pipes???" My dad worried quickly trailing off. "I'm her mate," Mason just blurted out. My cheeks instantly turned pink as my parents stared at us two in awe. "Alpha Mason is your mate?" My mom questioned. "Um yeah," I answered before Mason could. "Aww I'm so happy for you sweetheart?! But what happened??" She exclaimed. "It's a long story," mason said looking nervous. "We have time," my parents said in unison sitting down in two empty chairs. So, we told them.

"Oh my god," my mom said. They looked at each other for a few seconds, obviously mind linking, and then back to Mason and I. Mason had entwined his hand into mine and was sitting back in his chair next to me with me sitting up. My mom then looked at me only and mind linked me something I never thought she would say. "You have to tell him why you did not shift."

"What?? I never told anyone that sides you guys and Jay?!" "I know sweety, but he has to know. He even asked earlier why. He is your mate you can tell him anything." "Fine, but you have to leave." "Ok," my mom said out load. Blushing she continued her sentence, "we are gonna go and you guys can check up. Taylor has something important to tell you, Alpha Mason." They both kissed me goodbye and tilted their heads in respect to Mason and left the room shutting the door. "What did you have to tell me?" mason asked looking concerned. "Well um, I'm no ordinary wolf," I started. And so the truth spilled.
