Push my head underwater again, the color is the same as your eyes- or maybe all I see is your eyes looking down at me. The ocean water has always been so clear. My eyes burn too much to tell the difference between sea salt or tears.
I swam out into the tide to save you. You lifeguard. I have always tried to be your savior. I can't even save myself. You could swim circles around me like a shark and I'd enjoy the adrenaline as you fixated on me. Dilated pupils are a sign of attraction, or animalistic desire. Sharp teeth, but at least you smiled at me.
Hold my head underwater. As everything blacks out I can pretend you're just caressing my chin. It's just an accidental drowning, right? After all, you never bit me.
