Where was she?
An unanswered text message away when she was needed most. Did she ignore it? Did she even know it was there? If he had tied the rope a little tighter would she have felt guilty?
Who gave her the right to be the earthquake that knocked over the right oil truck to cause the perfect explosion that started a wildfire. How dare her fault lines also cause the tsunami that washes the burning pain away?
Why does she get to reappear now, no longer a mirage to far away to touch- the barrier of a mirror between you.
Why do you let her sweep me away with the wreckage?
Another body- another causality.
Just another death toll number.
-Will you look for my name in the list?
