Five Years Later

Kinsley's POV

Dixon. Oh my gosh, my hormones. He's dressed in a suit for Valentine's Day, with two of our girls right beside him. The school district always throws a daddy daughter dance and this year is the first of many that Dixon decided he was going to take both his girls to. Sav and Lore are in matching pink dresses with small heels and Dixon is so handsome with his pink tie matching them.

Dixie is too young to go but that's okay because she wanted to play with her new stuffed dog Jumper when Dixon's gone with her sisters. Dixie is a little version of Dixon in a girls body, so it was only fit her name be from her daddy. Five years ago I was planning on having her normally and she flipped that around when she was two weeks overdue. But she's a beautiful little five year old and we spend practically everyday together.

"You look beautiful girls and daddy cleaned up nicely didn't he?" I ask as they nod and smile. I make my way to them and kiss their cheeks before Dixon's and then kiss his lips.

"Don't stay out too long. I've got plans for tonight with you." I whisper into his ear as I kiss the side of his neck making him groan. He grabs my hip and pushes his bulge into my stomach as I smile.

"I love you." I tell him kissing him before I pull away. "I love you too." He tells me as I lean down and kiss the girls cheeks. I grab my phone taking their pictures and even force a very non-compliant Dixie in the middle to take her pictures with them as well. Even if she refuses to put on a dress with her shorts and tank top.

"Bye! I love you be safe!" I tell them all as I watch Dixon leave with our girls making me smile as he opens his truck doors for them and give them roses to hold. He's a perfect dad, and I'm so glad Travis gave up custody of Savannah so that he could officially adopt her years ago. That part was hard for me, knowing that my ex husband didn't want our daughter broke me.

"MAMA!" Dixie tells me as I look down at my five year old full of attitude and just like Dixon. "Yes ma'am?" I ask her sarcastically as she sighs.

"Daddy hides his candy in the top cabinet. Steal me some?" She asks making me laugh as I reach for the top cabinet with the chocolate peanut butter cups and give her one.

"Don't tell daddy!" I exclaim as she runs off grinning. I look around the kitchen at the big mess from this week before getting to work cleaning and then washing laundry.

Ten minutes later I get a text from Dixon and it's a selfie with the girls making me grin. Tonight I have a valentines surprise for him. I made chocolate covered strawberries with whipped cream, and I bought rose petals to put on the bathroom floor along with candles leading to the tub where I plan to be naked waiting on him. We haven't had sex in a month and tonight that's changing.

Dixon's POV

Walking into the decorated and heated tent with the girls they are excited as they can be to see their little friends here with their dads. Savannah runs off to the chocolate fountain with her girls as Lore finds her friends eating the cake. I'm glad I convinced the school board to be apart of this, I think it's a good idea. There is music in the tent playing along with dads looking bored out of their minds talking to each other.

I make my way over to one of the group of guys as I see Grant and hug him. "What's up man?" I ask sitting down next to him.

"Nothing much. I'm ready for this to be over so I can go watch football." He tells me as I laugh. I know the feeling. But our girls are having a good time so I'm fine.
