Liam's POV:
Theo and I went to bed not long after our short talk on the couch. Theo was a little hesitant to sleep in his room. I told him it was okay if he wanted to sleep in here and I could sleep in the guest room but he said it was fine and left the room.

I was curious as to why he was so hesitant but I didn't ask. I just got in my bed and let myself fall into a sweet slumber.

I fell asleep thinking about how Theo still hadn't eaten but I'd get him to eat in the morning.

A few hours later:
I jolted up in bed hearing a loud, blood curdling scream coming from the guest room. I scurried out of my bed and out of the room ready to fight someone or something that might have been trying to hurt Theo.

But, when I got in there... there was no intruder.

It was just Theo.

A very distressed, sweaty, terrified Theo who was screaming loudly holding his hands over his chest. Tears were falling from his eyes as I ran to him.

I grabbed him and pulled him into my chest.

"Theo... it's okay. Your safe. It's okay." I whispered little nothings into his ear.

He was shaking hard as his eyes darted around him. He held onto my arms like his life depended on it. I just sat there, holding him until he finally calmed down.

He stopped shaking but was still breathing heavily. His head was laid restless against my shoulder as his hands had a lose grip on my arms that were around his shoulders.

"Theo?" I asked softly.

He hummed in response.

"What happened?" I asked.

"It was just a nightmare." He said quietly, his voice breaking.

"What was it about?" I asked.

"My sister." He said.

"Your sister?" I asked.

"Yeah, she comes out of the ground and rips my- well, her heart, out of my chest. Over. And over. And over." He said.

"How long have you been having nightmares?" I asked.

"Since I went to hell." He said.

"Okay, well are you okay now?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay." He said.

I was surprised he was still talking to me. Normally he shuts down the first question. He just answered at least four with no hesitation. I decided I had asked enough questions for one night.

"Okay... I'm gonna let you go now." I said quietly trying to pull away, but he didn't let me.

He grabbed my arm tighter and scooted closer to me.

"Don't leave. Please." He said quietly.

My heart broke. I could smell his fear.

"Okay, let's just go to my room. It's more comfy in there." I said.

He nodded before standing up. I kept a grip on his arm until we made it into my bed. We laid in front of each other. Our faces only inches apart. He was so pretty. He looked sad and scared but still so beautiful.

"You okay?" I asked.

He nodded giving me a small smile.

It was a real smile.

"Okay, get some rest, T." I said closing my eyes.

Right before I fell asleep I could feel him grab my hand.

The next morning:
I woke up to the horrendous sound of my alarm. I leaned over and hit the off button. I leaned back and turned around.

And there he was.

Theo.

All the memories of last night flooded my mind. He was open with me. He had a nightmare and I held him until he calmed down. He slept next to me.

I stared at his features. He looked so peaceful. I couldn't look away. He was really beautiful.

I sighed, brushing some hair from his eyes.

I nudged his shoulder a little to wake him up.

He opened his eyes slowly. He smiled slightly when he realized I was in front of him.

"Good morning." I said.

"Good morning." He smiled.

Someone's in a good mood.

I smiled.

"Sleep well?" I asked.

"Yeah, actually. I slept amazing." He said with a bigger smile.

Awe, he's so adorable.

"Good! Well we've got school so get up." I said.

"Ugh. I hate school." He mumbled.

"You were the one that wanted to go back." I shrugged.

"Yeah yeah, just shut up and let me mope in peace." He said.

I laughed before starting to get ready for the day.

20 minutes later:
Theo and I were both full of food and ready for school so we got in the truck and made our way there.

"Hey, remember I'm hanging with Hayden after school so I won't be out here waiting for you." I reminded him.

His smile faltered and he seemed to build his walls again.

"Okay, what?" I asked.

"What?" He said.

"Every time I bring Hayden up you do this thing we're you go all cold faced and build walls up around you. You shut me out and it's honestly getting ridiculous." I said.

He sighed.

"It's nothing, I just don't like her. She still hates me and no matter what I do she won't change her mind about me." He said.

"Just let me talk to her, okay? She'll see how much you've changed." I said smiling.

"Okay." He said parking the truck.

We got out of the car and walked into the school. We walked to my locker then to biology.

Today.. today is going to be a good day.
