First day of her new office, Avee was ecstatic for she knew life will not be the same for her anymore. Dressed in her best clothes, she confidently walked through the gate and into the lush garden of her new office, The Wonder Company. She soon realised that her notion of being over dressed was actually a lot like being under dressed compared to the fashion statements the employees in the company had.

Extremely professional, none had a single minute to offer Avee help to find her work desk. Just as she was struggling to find her work station, Jenny introduced herself to Avee and volunteered to help her find her seat. The company was located in an enormous building containing a huge cafeteria, a basketball court, a lawn, a library and what not! Jenny informed her that their company has been taken over by a new CEO and although she had been appointed by the old owner, she could still continue as the new CEO is generous enough on not downsizing the employed staffs.

"Where is the new CEO?" Avee asked.

"Oh, he has still not joined yet, but has appointed Mr. Lee as his representative for the time being", Jenny answered.

"What kind of a CEO is he? Who doesnot care about his company.." mumurmed Avee.

The office hours passed by and Avee lazily walked towards her home by the basketball court, when a flying basketball hit her head hard out of no where. She fell down and for few minutes there was complete darkness all around her.

"Get up. God, did I just kill her or what! No. She's breathing. Thank God."

Avee opened her eyes to witness a boy slapping her cheeks vigorously, trying to wake her up. She sat up and shouted at him

"Are you mad? Did you throw the ball? I m not going to leave you so easily? You jerk. What am I a pushover. Dont dare think that. Why are you even playing now? The office hours has just finished. The basket ball court remains closed during office hours. Have you not seen it, you idiot!"

The boy stood up and left.

Avee shouted
"Are you not even sorry. Wait. You.
Yes, you!"

Avee threw the basketball towards him. The boy caught the ball and threw it back at her. Avee was again hit. This time however she didnot faint.

Returning home she was welcomed with normal questions regarding her first day by her mother. Avee went into her room without answering any of those questions, came back had food and went into her room again. Her mother understood well, that she didnt have a great start.

At 11pm, Avee sat beside her window, looking outside from her 4th floor when she surprisingly saw the boy who was playing outside her office, again. He was languidly walking alone in the dark alleys. Avee wondered what he was again upto. She also wanted to extract an apology from him at any costs. She ran down as she decided to follow him.

"Where are you going now? Where on earth are you going?" Shouted her mother.

Avee had no time to answer to her mother, she rushed down, but it was too late. The boy had till then disapperead.
