☆ Chapter Five ☆

Y/n POV

I watched Callahan chop down nearby trees as I began to build the layout of his house, it was a simple design, similar to other ones in Snowchester but we needed quite alot of wood. "This will probably take awhile to make by the way" I call over to him, he looks over at me, making sure I was looking back at him and moved his hands 'Yeah I know, but it'll be a fun project' He smiled at me and I smiled back "You're getting better at sign language" I compliment as I made sure the base of the house was sturdy. As kids I always tried to teach Callahan sign language so he didn't always have to rely on writing but he was never really confident with it.

- Time skip -

Night soon fell and the base of the house was built, the rest of our materials sat in chests, waiting to be used but right now we were wrapped up in blankets on my bed, attempting to fall asleep. I sat there looking at his brown eyes as they looked back at mine, his eyes were calming to look at, it made me feel instant comfort, it was great. That was the last thing I thought before I fell asleep.

Callahan's POV

Their breathing settled until the only sound coming from them were calm snores. I cuddled up next to them and nudged my head into the crook of their neck and soon felt myself fall asleep.

[ Callahan's Dream]

My eyes opened slowly as I looked around, I saw sitting in the community house with Sapnap, George and Dream "Dude, have you guys met y/n?" Dream laughed "They're pretty cool" He admitted "Wait Dream you know them? Are they single?" Sapnap yelled over the table causing almost everyone to burst into laughter "I can confirm, they are currently single" Dream answered in between laughs. For some reason hearing they were single made my stomach burst with butterflies. I had met y/n before, we were only acquaintances but we talked quite abit. "They won't be for long" Sapnap smirked as he leant back in his chair "What's that suppost to mean?" George asked " 'WhAt'S tHaT sUPpoSt tO mEaN' it means I'm gonna ask them out dumbass" Sapnap answered in a mocking tone, making Dream wheeze again.

I woke up, annoyed, I wanted to see what happened in the rest of the dream. I slowly got out of the bed, making sure I didn't wake y/n on my way out and walked out into the living room. I grabbed a blanket that sat on the couch and wrapped in around myself as I walked towards the window 'Do I like them?' I asked myself before shaking the thought away 'No, they're just a friend'. Thoughts soon began to rush through my head as I stared out into the snow covered field. My eyes began to tear up but I never looked away from a leaf that sat above the snow.

'If you don't do anything now, Sapnap will take them from you'
"No Sapnap doesn't even like y/n, it was just a dream'
'Just admit it Callahan'
'Y/n might like you back'
'Probably not but still'
'Just tell them already'
