Y/n POV
We sat in a comfortable silence as we ate, exchanging a few glances at each other and laughing when out eyes locked. I was in a point of my life where everything was amazing, and that was all because of Callahan. He was such an amazing person and also partner, I couldn't be happier.
I glanced out the window to see that there was a lot of snow on the ground "Hey Callahan?" He looked up from his plate and hummed in response "wanna go outside and build an igloo?" I smiled at him and he nodded his head, we both ran to the door and put our snow boots on.
We looked around for a good area before deciding on a place not to far from the house, we gathered a bunch of snow and Callahan put it into brick shapes. His back was turned to me, this was my chance. I put my knee to the ground slowly, trying not to make any noise and put my hand in the snow and made a ball shape. I took a deep breath in as I lifted my hand above my head and threw the ball, it hit him in the back of the head. "What the fuck?" His hand rubbed his head where snow was left "Oh shit sorry" I walked towards him to comfort him. He knelt to the ground when I was a few steps away from him "Callahan, it was just a joke, don't do this" I stepped back a bit as he turned to face me "it's only fair y/n" he said with a smirk.
His hand lifted over his head and the ball left his hand, hitting the tree next to me "you suck" I tease as I walk over to the bricks and start moving them. We spent the next two hours making and moving snow bricks until the igloo was finished. "Wait here" Callahan said as we stood outside, admiring our progress. I watched him run inside and run back out with blankets and pillows "now we can cuddle in there" he said with a huge smile on his face.
We placed two blankets on the ground and put some pillows on top of them so they wouldn't get as wet, it wasn't as big as planned but we both fit inside without breaking anything.
Callahan POV
It wasn't long until y/n fell asleep on my lap, they were cuddled up in a ball. I wrapped them in a spare blanket before cuddling into them to keep them warm.
