☆ Chapter Two ☆

Y/n POV

I woke up warmer than usual, maybe I forgot to close the curtains last night and the sun was shining through? Yeah, that makes sense.

I stayed in bed as I waited to wake up abit more and felt something behind me shift. I froze. What was that? I moved onto my back and saw Callahan there, he smiled and waved "Hey" I said to him "How was your sleep?" I asked, he replied with a thumbs up, I smiled and went to get up but felt a tug around my waist, I turned around "What?" I laughed as he pulled me back onto my bed "Don't go" I heard him whisper as I nugged into his chest, making me freeze again. He just spoke, like properly, that never happened. His voice was deep and raspy but that could have just been because he was asleep seconds before he spoke.

I moved away slightly so I was now looking at him, eye to eye, "Did you really just speak" I asked shyly, still shocked at what what happened, he shook his head quickly in response and loosened his grip around my waist.

Callahan POV

Why did I do that? I questioned myself. After all these years of not speaking to anyone verbally how come I did this now? Confusion waved over me as I got lost in my thoughts.

Y/n left the room for abit before coming back with some bread for breakfast. We thought about what we wanted to do while the sun was up "How about we go see if Sam and Ponk want to hang out?" Y/n suggested, I nodded and soon enough we were on our way to see them. "Hey y/n" I heard someone in the distance say "Oh hey, Sapnap" They replied back with a smile, I knew Sapnap quite well, we'd been friends for years, the main thing almost everyone knew about him was that he had always been a massive flirt. Something snapped in my head and before thinking I grabbed y/n's hand, intertwining our fingers, I kept looking forwards even though I felt my face begin to burn.

~ Time skip (now with Ponk & Sam ) ~

"Wait, You actually spoke to them?" Ponk questioned me, I nodded "And what was their reaction?" I shrugged as thoughts raced through my head 'what was their reaction?' 'What if they hated my voice?'. Y/n and Sam were talking somewhere, far enough not to hear mine and Ponk's conversation but close enough to be in eye view. "So did anything interesting happen then?" Ponk asked me, I began writing 'We fell asleep and woke up hugging and I held their hand on the way here' I knew they holding hands part was little but he was gonna freak out about the sleeping part.

Y/n POV

"And out of nowhere he grabbed my hand and did the little intertwine thingy" I told Sam as I picked at the grass that we sat on "Just out of nowhere? Like nothing happened before it?" He quickly questioned back "Well, I was speaking to Sapnap but that couldn't-" I began but was cut off by Sam "Y/N ARE YOU DUMB?" He laughed once he finished speaking, "What do you even mean?" I asked as I watched him stand up "Don't worry, anyways let's go and sit with Ponk and Callahan before you guys need to leave"
