The Silent One || Callahan x Reader

☆ Chapter Seven ☆

Y/n's POV

We followed the map, making sure we were going the right way, Callahan had the picnic basket in one hand and my hand in the other, mainly because he walked slower than me but also because it felt safer.

It was mainly silent, apart from my humming and the occasional swear because we had gone the wrong way but we finally got there without much hassle.

"Hey, y/n and Callahan, what's up?" George noticed us as we walked up to the library "We decided we wanted to come see you guys, Kinoko kingdom looks so cool, you guys have done a really good job" I said as I looked around at the other buildings "Yeah it's a really cool place" George said. Our conversation continued but I soon felt Callahan's hand slip from mine, I looked over at him and noticed he was walking over to Sapnap. "Ey, Callahan, long time no see, and you brought y/n" He said as he hugged into Callahan's chest, I waved at him and looked over at George who was just standing up, he walked over to Sapnap after he pulled away from Callahan. George whispered to Sapnap and both of them paused. We all stood there in silence until Callahan started signing something 'what the fuck is happening?' We both giggled before I signed back 'No clue'. We both laughed "Wait y/n you know sign?" George questioned me "Nah, I just guessed that shit" I said sarcastic tone,  causing both sapnap and Callahan to laugh.

We all walked out of the library together and found a nice place in the sun to have the picnic, the food Callahan made was really good but we spent most of the time talking. "Yeah but foolish helped with the building, he's an amazing builder" George said "oh really, does he build as a job or something?" I asked, with a plan in mind "I'm not really sure, I think it depends on what the building is and how much you pay him" Sapnap continued "Oh okay, I'll talk to him about it" I smiled as I looked through the basket. 

The day flew past after that and we were soon on our way home, the sun was setting and we walked down through a forest with our index fingers linked. "I think we should stay at the innit hotel again" I said as we walked up near Skeepy and Bad's house.

I felt a small tug on my hand and turned around, I was instantly pulled into a hug by Callahan I smiled into his chest and hugged back. 'Thank you for everything' he signed before we continued walking towards the hotel.

"Oh y/n and Callahan, your back" Jack greeted "Yeah, Snowchester is quiet far and we don't want to get killed by anything so we might as well stay here" I said, searching my bad for a couple diamonds to pay for the visit "Thank you Jack" I smiled as we climbed up to our room.

I instantly wrapped myself in the blanket and waited for Callahan to lay next to me, and wrap me in a tight hug before we both fell asleep.
