Chapter 14

The reddish-orange light illuminates through the trees in which grabbed everyone on the flying plane attention. The light smells like smoke meaning fire, and you sniff the familiar scent coming from there. It's Alex but there's another lion with him, his father Zuba.

You pointed to the direction where Alex is.

Skipper: "She found something, pedal to the metal and Kowalsky shine that light!"

You slide down on the rope and land in a huge metal carrier in which is shaped of a large bucket. The chimpanzee drop dowm chaining their arms together like those barrel of monkeys toys. One of the chimps grab the handle of the carrier to hold on, the lights finally turn on revealing Alex and his dad Zuba almost being killed by a group of tourists. You quickly help Alex and Zuba in the carrier before taking off.

Alex: "She's got a gun! Let's get out while we can!" He shouted above Marty.

Marty: "What?"

Alex: "She's got a gun! Let's get out while we can! Pass it on." He repeated, the chimps pass on the message through one and another.

Thomas: 'He said "Let's have some fun, and take out the dam.'"

Y/n: 'No no no, that's not what he said!'

Marty: "Skipper, Alex wants us to take out the dam!"

Skipper: "Alright. But this is his funeral."

Marty: "What?"

Skipper: "Hang on to your skirt, it's dam busting time." He said, turning the wheel in the opposite direction.

The plane turn carrying you, Alex, and Zuba in full speed, music appear in the cockpit pleasing Private, Kowalsky, and Skipper. Suddenly the plane turned around heading back to where the dam is on Alex's plan.

Y/n: 'Wait! Stop you guys!'

Alex: "Tell them 'No pull up! They'll kill us! There's got to be another way.' Pass it on!" He said to the monkey carrying the handle.

The chimpanzees once again pass on Alex's message to one another and finally to Thomas.

Thomas: "He said 'No pull up! Kill us. There's no other way.'"

Marty: "Are you sure?"

Y/n: 'What?! No! Thomas no!'

Skipper: "Men, there is no sacrifice greater than someone else." He said but a gun being triggered from the distance shot the head of a hula dancer Skipper is dating.

Y/n see the carrier being lowered to the ground almost reaching to the dam where the old lady is standing on, you climb up on the chain-linked chimpanzees like a ladder reaching up towards the plane. Marty and Private pulled you in the plane when they felt a bump underneath them.

Y/n look down seeing the dam finally break releasing a gushing stream of fresh water running towards to the savanna's watering holes, but you don't see that old lady anymore. Thank goodness she's not there anymore, what a crazy human.

Marty: "Woah Y/n, you're alive. How's Alex?"

Y/n pants of exhaustion after climbing up a long chain-linked of monkeys without any water, you are dehydrated. Private brought you a bottle of water he found (from one of the tourists he and his team hijacked most of the cars and jeeps from before). You took it and drink most of water from the water without a single drop. But then something is finally coming out of Y/n which shocks everyone for the first time.

Y/n: "H-He's fine, along with his dad too. He said before to turn the plane around because an old lady was carrying a gun to shoot him." You explained to the zebra.

Thomas: "Oh, my bad madam." He apologized while you glare at the monkey.

Skipper: "Woah Dollface, this is the first time hearing your beautiful voice." He said smirking while cuddling his bobble head Rico fixed. Thank you Rico for carrying duct tape in his stomach.

Y/n: "Thank Skipper for the compliment." You said, rolling your eyes. 😒

Private: "W-Well I think it's nice miss Y/n." He said shyly.

You kneel down in front of the kind Penguin and give him a sweet smile.

Y/n: "Aww thank you Private. At least your my favorite penguin among your team." You said petting his head.

You stand up watching the sun is rising beaming the amount of light at you and the others, it's morning and the animals should be waking up right now expecting the watering holes to be filled with fresh and clean water.

Y/n: 'Stay strong animals! I hope you can survive.' You prayed
