" Gran you cannot seriously thinking am gonna marry him!" Annella yelled at her grandmother who sat down on the sofa, with the fire crackling softly giving the room it's heat.

" Ann please, he is a very nice and handsome young man! He will take care of you." Jenna tried to reason with her granddaughter.

"Oh please, he is a manipulative asshole that only thinks about money and himself." Annella yelled at her Gran how scoffed and stood up to her feet.

" I do not have a lot of time left! I want to go with the knowladge that you are looked after!" Her gran yelled back to her.

" This is not the old days gran! Woman can look after themselves! I will not marry him." Annella yelled back furious her Gran could do this to her.

" You are marry him!" Jenna yelled furious at her.

" No I will not! I want to marry in love! I can never love that failure of a man!" Annella yelled with tears in her eyes as she watched her Gran sit down on the sofa.

" We announce the engagment at the ball." Jenna said sitting down looking to the fire. Annella huffed in a saddened laugh.

" I can't believe you. You are condemning me to a life of misery and pain." Annella said as she rushed out of the living space and up to her room. She slammed to door shut and threw herself onto the bed and wept herself to sleep that night.

Annella woke up the next morning facing the window to the left of her bed. The morning sun shone down onto her tear stained face. She lay on top of her covers still in her clothes from yesterday. Her hair tangled and matted as she pushed herself from her laying position and sat up. Her large windows at the foot of her bed. The snow outside was glistening brightly in the cold morning sun. Annella stood up weakly and stripped off her clothes walking over to her wardrobe and pulling out her black jeans and a purple shirt. On top her placed her thick pink jumper and pulled on her black leather boots. Pulling a brush through her tangled hair she turned and cleaned her face over her vanity dresser.

" Ann darling!" Jenna called to her as she walked out of her room. Annella walked quietly through the halls and down the large staircase. She pulled on her coat and buttoned it up before tieing the waist belt tightly.

" Ann, where are you going?" Jenna asked her as she wrapped her scarf around her neck.

" I am going too Carlisle's to get my wrist seen too and then for a walk." She replied in a mono toned way. Jenna sighed upset by her saddened granddaughter.

" Ann, please." Jenna said stepping forward but Annella grabbed her gloves and opened the door.

" It's Annella." Was all she replied to her Gran as she closed the door behind her. Annella walked towards the forest linning as she pulled o her light blue mittens; not caring about her wrist anymore. She walked into the forest not caring about anything. Her only train of thought was her new arranged engagement to the twat, asshole of a man. Tears streamed down her face as she walked further into the forest, not stopping to look around her. She stopped abruptly looking around her. The trees, the shape of the land beneath her feet was unfamiliar.

" Shite." She hissed as she looked around trying to find her bearings. She was lost in the forest that every where she turned was the same. She looked to the sky trying to see the sun, but a cast over of grey clouds had laced the sky thickly.

" Great. I am lost and a snow storm is about to come! Wonderful!" She yelled out angry to the sky.

" Why are you doing this to me!? First you take my parents! Then you make me have to marry that ass! Now you are doing this! Well... You dear god are asshole!" Annella yelled as she pointed her finger to the sky. Just then the skies opened and the wind picked up dramatically. Within in seconds Annella could just barely see her hands in front of her. She wrapped her arms around her as she buried her face into her scarf. The cold wind biting and gnawing at her through her clothes. She trudged her way through the thick snow that reached mid calf. The wind pushed against her as she struggled to stay on her feet from shivering. It was not after ten minutes of walking in the blizzard that her legs finally gave out and she fell to the ground exhausted. She lay on her side curling into a ball for warmth as the cold slowly eat away at her energy.

" At least I do not have to marry that men." She whispered to herself before she closed her eyes.

Meanwhile back at the house, Jenna was pacing the living room with fear rippling through her. The blizzard was heavy outside and Jenna only hoped that Annella had gone to Carlisle's office than into the forest. But knowing Annella, she never went to Carlisle's surgery. Jenna rushed over and grabbed the phone quickly dialing Carlisle's number. She waited as the ring tone sounded before the sound of the phone being picked up.

" Hello, Doctor Cullen speaking." His english accent sounded over the phone.

" Hello, Carlisle. It Jenna Blair. Has Annella been too see you?" Jenna asked as her voice was shaking.

" No she hasn't is everything alright, Ms Blair? You sound upset?" Carlisle asked with worry.

" Annella went out, most likely walking in the woods. She has not come back yet." Jenna said as a tear fell down her cheek.

" Alright stay calm. I am sure she is fine. I will have a look for her." Carlisle said over to phone to Jenna.

" Thank you so much." Jenna said as Carlisle hung up the phone. Jenna fell onto her sofa and cried.

" This is my fault." Jenna sobbed to herself. Meanwhile, when Carlisle hung up the phone he quickly redialed to Jaspers number.

" Hello?" Jasper asked over the phone.

" Jasper, is everyone with you?" Carlisle asked with urgency.

" Yes." He answered.

" Good, Annella went out into the forest and has not returned. I need you and the other to go and and search for her. I will join you as soon as I can." Carlisle said to Jasper quickly.

" Understood." Jasper said in his military voice as he hung up the phone. Carlisle grabbed his jacket and bag and rushed out his office. He past his receptionist and opened the front door.

" Go home, there is no point of being here. I have family business I have too attend to." Carlisle said walking out the door. He ran at human pace through the blizzard until he past the forest line; where he burst into a fast sprint. He rushed towards his family that were out in the blizzard searching for Annella.
