Chapter 11: May I?

OMG! I have not updated this in a year! I apologise for that. But here it is the long awaited chapter 11! Please keep liking and commenting!

The next morning came quickly as the sun peaked over Dunkeld and Birnam. As the sun arose through Annella's windows, her eyes flickered open to spot Jasper laying on the sofa just at the foot of her bed clearly sleeping. 

" Jasper?" She whispered softly towards him with a small smile on her lips. Jasper opened his golden eyes to look directly at Annella.

" Mornin' Love. " He spoke in a deep voice as he pushed himself up and into a sitting position while continuing to look at Annella. "How are you feeling?"

" Sore." She muttered as her hand went up to the area where that man had punched her. Jasper stood up with a concerned look on his face. He sat down to the left side of her and took her hand away from her jaw to see a blue bruise. A deep growl emitted from his throat at the wound.

" I wish I had stopped him." He whispered to her as he kissed the bruise softly, taking away most of the pain. He brought his lips away from her cheek slowly as they moved so they where so close, looking into each others eyes. Jasper's eyes drifted from her to her lips and then back before they closed as he slowly began to lean down to her lips. Annella was motionless, not knowing what to do. Of course she wanted to kiss this man before her. Who wouldn't?

" May I?" Jasper whispered so close to her lips. Annella could only nodded her head gentle in anticipation. Jasper wasted no more time and with lightening speed placed his lips onto hers. And it felt like an explosion had taken place. His soft yet hard cold lips felt unbelievably amazing on her warm ones. Jasper soon pulled away and placed his cold forehead onto her warm one as they sat there just enjoying the moment.

"Breakfast is ready!" Jenna yelled out from down the stairs causing both Annella and Jasper to laugh. Jasper placed a peck onto her lips before he pulled away and helping Annella up out her bed.

" Get ready. I will be waiting for you downstairs." He said before turning and walking out of her room and towards the kitchen downstairs. Annella smiled as she changed put a house rob around her and pulled on her boot slippers. She pulled her hair back into a messy ponytail before heading down stairs to see Jasper, Jenna, Emmett and Rosalie where standing around the island in the kitchen.

" You have to eat something! Its morning and breakfast is the most important meal of the day."Jenna scolded the three siblings as Annella smiled while walked up to her grandmother.

" Gran, If they don't want to eat then do make them. There is nothing worse than someone trying to force to into doing something." Annella said as she placed a hand onto her Gran's arm.

" Fine." Jenna muttered before turning and leaving the room as Annella sighed.

"I'm sorry. She just worries about the younger generation a lot." Annella smiled softly in the direction her gran left before reaching down and picking up a piece of bacon and dipping it in some brown sauce.

" It nice she worries about you." Rosalie smiled to Annella.

" Anyway, we must get back to our house." Emmett said as he turned and began to usher Rosalie out by her waist. "Jasper you coming?"

" I think I will stay here." Jasper began before looking at Annella. "If thats alright with you?" He asked with hope as Annella nodded with a full mouth.

" Alright, well have fun." Emmett smirked as Jasper rolled her golden eyes softly.

" So, I was thinking. Do you wanna go for a ride today?" Annella asked as Jasper nodded to her softly.

" I would love too." He whispered to her and walked over placing his hands on her hips. He pulled her small frame closer to her and kissed her forehead before kissing her lips softly as a peck.

" You can ride Beth." Annella said as she walked out the stables with two horses behind her. Beth was on her right while another brown horse was to her left.

" Good by me. And who is that?" Jasper asked nodding to the brown horse.

" This is Thunder. He is a rescue horse." Annella said as she pulled the reins over her head. " He was left in a field alone without food or water."

"But he certainly looks brand new now." Jasper said as he mounted Beth and settled himself into the saddle. He smiled at the feeling of being back on a horse. Annella done the same and walked her horse forward which Jasper followed behind.

" I hope your good with cross country." She spoke to him before pushing Thunder into a canter.

" Of course." He told her and raced after her as they made their way into the forest. They rode through the forest without a track up small hills and passed trees and over small streams.

" You think you can handle that tree?" Annella asked Jasper as they where cantering towards a fallen tree which rose about a meter and a bit from the ground.

" Easy." Jasper said before racing towards the tree in a gallop. He easily took the jump and landed it prefectly as he then pulled Beth to a stop and turned to watch Annella. Annella leaned down closer to Thunders ear.

" You can do this, boy. I know you can." She whispered in his ear before they burst into a gallop and took the jump with grace. She never stop to wait for Jasper as she burst past him causing him to laugh and push Beth into a quick start of a gallop to catch up. They both laughed as they now cantered side by side.

" Its just up a head." Annella said as she began to slow down. Jasper followed her lead and slowed down just a bit back. Annella soon puled Thunder to a stop at the top of a small slop. They looked down and smiled as Annella sighed.

" This is my favorite place. I would come here all the time when I was a kid." Annella said as she looked down with a sad look on her face. "And when my parents passed away..."

" Annella, do not be so sad. They are both looking down on you with pride. I can tell that." Jasper said as they kissed while leaning over their horses.

" Come on then." Annella whispered and they made their way down the slope.
